This is the Grey Closet
And this page exists as a sort of guide to your visit here.
Its purpose is to introduce you to the site by serving three basic functions.
First, it will tell you a bit about your host (that's me).
Then, it will briefly outline what this site is all about.
Finally *most importantly* it will lead you to the Closet Door.

A brief bio of Athena Grey: Athena Grey is my screen name of choice & has existed as one of my aliases since the early 90s. I actually created Her the day before I entered my twenties. She was the result of a brief fling with Greek mythology & a Bronte novel. Originally, my choice was between Athena & Diana; I chose the former because it sounded more "mystical". The Grey came from an obscure novel written by the youngest Bronte sister, Anne, called Agnes Grey. (One day, I may put up a real bio. I think this one should suffice until then....)

Cast of Characters...Most of the people in the photographs you'll see have profoundly impacted my life in the last year or so. Now, maybe you think I'm being a trite dramatic...but I don't know. A lot of my new friends have made me feel like I'm part of a very special family. Therefore, it is with great pride that I dedicate the work I've done here to them.

Starring: In alphabetical order: Chrissy, Flipper, Gina, Helen, Jenn, JL, Karen, Matt, Nikki, Shok, Shyrie, Tim, Trishy, Vince & pretty much anyone on Tangentland! Depending on the episodes, these are just some of the famous figures in my life! You'll be able to meet these shining stars & many, many others in just a couple of pages. In the meantime, take a bow, kids! Thanks for being sooo wonderful!

The Pages are self-explanatory to a degree. Those that aren't hold few surprises. For example: Madness 1 & 2 are different pictures snapped between Sep. '99 - '00. Photogems & Revealing Treasures are pictures contributed from different sources. Distance Memories are pictures taken prior to Sep. '99, including family shots. Surprise Ending is exactly that because...well, it's a surprise!

I'd also like to note that some of the images were incorrectly saved and may not appear as sharp as intended. Forgive me--for the scanner was once a new toy for me, and I knew not what I was doing....
