As you can see in the photos, the logs were used in the construction of the home while the smaller branches were used for railings and trim. In this photo, you see the kitchen, a spacious and well equiped open area to prepare gourmet meals while watching the the wildlife that call Lake Meade home. The first floor features and Great Room with a living area, dining area and the kitchen. Also on the first floor is a bedroom with bath and also a half bath off the kitchen.
 
 

This photo is looking into the dining area. As you can see, we have a large collection of early primitive antiques. The collection is the result of many hours spent looking through junk at yard sales and attending numerous auctions. You just never know what the next yard sale or auction will bring, duck decoys, an old table from a local post office, a 4’ X 5’ water fowl print (believed to be a Remington Peters advertising piece) or maybe even an unusual oak file cabinet, that I use as storage for my computer supplies. Just beyond the door/windows to the right, is the deck that over looks the lake.

Mike and I both still work and have very busy schedules, but if we are not working, attending classes, checking out yard sales or off to an auction to find the ever elusive bargain, we enjoy the lake in our pontoon boat.
