ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION

Designed by: Mr. Robert Laczkowski, Wally Paczkoskie

Welcome, and thanks for coming to visit our shop online!

The 2003- 2004 school year will be the final year for the Electrical Construction shop teacher Mr. Laczkoski. He will be greatly missed around the school. He has contributed a lot of his time and effort towards his students and towards the many projects around the school. He has also contributed to the community for many years.

In our shop, students work in several fields of electrical work such as residential wiring, low voltage wiring, magnetic controls, and motor controls.

Students also go out on several projects every year in the local community.

A project that has been recently completed is rebuilding an electrical maintenence vehicle. The students took the vehicle apart and cleaned everything. Then checked the solenoids to make sure they were in working condition. The next step was using primer and rustolium paint on the frame. Six car batteries were installed and wired to make the vehicle move. The body was painted yellow. Then a yellow emergency light was placed on the top with decals of the shops symbols. All of the final bugs are being worked out as we speak. We would like to thank PAR-MAR CARS, INC. of Long Pond, PA. Especially Mark Biery for his technical assistance and donation of parts to make our project successful.

Please contact the shop for work to be done by students at a resonable wage scale.
