In April of 99, a routine targeted burn of approximately 10 acres, became Pike County's nightmare. A freak wind blew the flame over Rt. 209 resulting in approximately 400 acres being burned.

Our Company as well as many others from surrounding Counties, New York, and New Jersey were called to aid National Park Service and Milford Fire Dept. The blaze took a few days to finally be put out.

The Company responded to a kitchen/electrical fire on Park Road, resulting in the road being temporary closed until the fire was put out. Dingmans Fire Department was also called in for mutual aid. With the help of the Company's thermal imaging camera, firefighters were able to detect any hotspots in the walls of the structure, thus minimizing the areas of walls that needed to be opened to completely extinguish the fire.

The residents of the home evacuated without incident and with the only incident occuring was a minor injury to one of the firefighters and he was treated at the scene by members of the Delaware Township Vol. Ambulance Corp. Thanks to the use of the "camera" minimal damage occured to the structure itself..
