[One warn summer morning, TK, Kari, Patamon, and Gatomon are lying under a tree in the park.]

TK: So, Kari, what do you want to do?
KARI: I don’t know. What do you want to do?
PATAMON: There’s nothing to do.
GATOMON: This is going to be one long summer vacation.
TK: Come on, guys. There has to be something we can do.
PATAMON: I know! Let’s all get some ice cream!

[Suddenly, a bright light emanates from the ground and they start to sink into it.]

KARI: What’s going on?!
TK: I don’t know. But I’ll never complain about being bored again.

[In a flash, they disappear.]

[That same morning, Excel is in her apartment, searching.]

EXCEL: Menchi! Come on, Menchi, where are you hiding?

[She finds the dog hiding behind the fridge.]

EXCEL: Huh? There you are. My sweet Menchi. What are you doing back there? Come on, it’s time to eat.
MENCHI: *frightened whine*
EXCEL: Now, now, my cooking’s not that bad.

[Suddenly a bright light emanates from the floor beneath her feet.]

EXCEL: What’s this? Some new way to get to the secret underground headquarters?

[She starts to sink in.]

EXCEL: I’m coming, Lord Ilpalazzo!

[In a flash, she disappears.]

MENCHI: *happy yelp*

[In Crossroads, Ami, Serena, Rini, and Hotaru are walking to school.]

SERENA: *whine* Ohhh... It’s too early to be going to school.
AMI: But Serena, school starts in half-an-hour.
SERENA: Yeah, it’s too early to be out of bed.
RINI: Today’s the last day of school. Did you forget?
SERENA: Huh? Oh, yeah! Ha ha! How could I forget that?! Yipee!!
HOTARU: *soft giggle*

[Then, a light appears on the ground beneath them.]

HOTARU: What’s happening?!
AMI: Could it be a new enemy?!
SERENA: Rini!

[Serena pushes Rini out of the space of light, which sucks up the other three and then disappears.]

RINI: Serena? Ami? Hotaru? *sniff* Mama!!

[In Cephiro, the land of the will, Umi walks into a room of the castle.]

ASCOT: Umi!
UMI: Hi, Ascot. Hi, Caldina.
CALDINA: Well, hi there, Umi. You’re just in time. Ascot here has something to tell you.
ASCOT: *whisper* Caldina!
UMI: Oh? What is it, Ascot?
ASCOT: Oh, well... uh... I was wondering if... *blush* you would... like to... uh... comevisitmyfriendswithme! If you want to.
CALDINA: That’s not what you were going to ask her.
ASCOT: Quiet!

[Umi walks ahead when suddenly a bright light shines under her and she starts to sink into it.]

ASCOT: Umi!!
CALDINA: Umi!

[Ascot dives for Umi’s hand but is sucked into the light as well. In a minute, Caldina is all alone.]

CALDINA: What’s going on?

[At Penguin Park, in Reedington, Sakura, Li, Kero, and Madison are sitting under a tree.]

KERO: This is the life. Sitting under a tree on a beautiful day. The only thing missing is an ice cream cone with the lots of ice cream! LI: You and your stomach.
KERO: What?!
SAKURA: Come on, guys, don’t start fighting. It’s too nice here to do that.
MADISON: Right. And I know what we can do.
SAKURA: What is it?

[Madison pulls out her video camera.]

MADISON: Get a detailed account of the adventures of Card Captors Sakura and Li!
SAKURA & LI: *groan*
KERO: Hey, what about me?!
MADISON: Of course you as well, Kero.
KERO: All right. Make sure you get my good side.
SAKURA: *giggle*

[Suddenly, a bright light shines beneath her.]

KERO: Sakura, move!
SAKURA: Oh!

[She starts to sink in.]

LI: Sakura!

[He pushes her away and they both land on the round.]

SAKURA: Thank you, Li.

[The light moves under them.]

MADISON: Get out of there!

[But they sink into the light and disappear.]

MADISON: Kero, what happened?
KERO: I don’t know. I didn’t sense anything. Huh? Madison, was your camera on?
MADISON: Yes.
KERO: Maybe there’s something on the tape that can help us.

[In another part of the city, Mew and mica are sitting at a picnic bench, eating.]

MEW: All I can say is that I’m glad we get a break from school.
MICA: Me too. We’ve only been here a while, but the people here put up with all that work for years.
MEW: Don’t even talk about school. So, what do you want to do later?
MICA: How ‘bout we go to the water park? We can go on the rides and throw hoops over bowling pins.
MEW: Okay, sounds like fun.

[She gets up to throw away her trash, but on her way back she suddenly stops.]

MEW: Uh, Mica.
MICA: Yeah? MEW: I can’t move.
MICA: Huh?

[She looks over and sees Mew slowly sinking into a white light.]

MICA: Mew, get out of there!
MEW: I can’t!

[Mica dives for Mew, but too late. The light disappears with Mew.]

MICA: How am I going to explain this to the commander?

[Somewhere unknown, a boy and girl lie on the ground. Then the boy movers and lifts himself up.]

TK: Oh, my head. Where am I? Huh? Kari!

[He runs over to the girl.]

TK: Kari! Kari, wake up!
KARI: Mmmm. TK?
TK: Thank goodness.

[He helps her up.]

KARI: Where are we?
TK: I don’t know. The last thing I remember is being sucked in by a white light.
KARI: Me too.
TK: Wait, where are our Digimon?!
KARI: There’s not here?
TK: Patamon!
KARI: Gatomon!

[Silence]

TK: We must have gotten separated.
KARI: TK, my D-3’s gone!
TK: Huh? Mine too! What’s going on?
KARI: I don’t know, but we’d better find Patamon and Gatomon.
TK: Right. Let’s go.

[Somewhere else in the unknown land walks Ami.]

AMI: Serena! Hotaru! Anybody?! Where am I? Someone must not want us around. But who? Whoever it is took my transformation pen as well.
VOICE: Come on, Gatomon, wake up!
AMI: Who’s there?
PATAMON: Gatomon, open your eyes!

[Ami walks around some tall bushes and sees Patamon with Gatomon lying in front if him.]

PATAMON: *cries*
AMI: Excuse me?
PATAMON: Huh? Who are you?
AMI: My name’s Ami. What’s wrong?
PATAMON: *sniff* It’s Gatomon. When I woke up, she was lying nearby, but she didn’t wake up. *sniff*

[Ami kneels down next to the Digimon.]

AMI: Let me see. I’m studying to be a doctor. Hmm. she’ll be okay. She just got knocked out, but she’s breathing fine.

[She pulls out a handkerchief.]

AMI: I passed a small pond back there. Could you go wet this?
PATAMON: I’ll be right back!

[Patamon flies away with the handkerchief and quickly returns with it.]

AMI: Thank you.

[She rings it out, folds it, and places it on the kitty Digimon’s head.]

GATOMON: Mmm...
PATAMON: It’s working!

[Gatomon slowly opens her eyes.]

GATOMON: Patamon?
PATAMON: I’m here. And Miss Ami here helped you. She says you’re going to be fine.

[Gatomon sits up.]

GATOMON: Thank you, Miss Ami.
AMI: You’re welcome. And you can just call me Ami. And who are you?
PATAMON: I’m Patamon.
GATOMON: And I’m Gatomon. We’re Digimon or Digital Monsters.
AMI: Digital Monsters? And is this where you live?
PATAMON: Oh, no. We don’t know where we are. After we two and our friends got sucked up by some bright light, we must have gotten separated.
AMI: A bright light? that sounds like what happened to me and my friends.
GATOMON: It got you too? But why? I thought it was only after the DigiDestined.
AMI: Oh, I thought it was after me and my friends because we are the Sa-- Oh.
PATAMON: What?
AMI: Well, I might as well tell you since we need to stick together. I’m Sailor Mercury of the Sailor Scouts, led by Sailor Moon.
GATOMON: The Sailor Scouts? they really exist?
PATAMON: And the guy with the cool cape and mask?!
AMI: Yes.
GATOMON: I thought it was just a reason to sell merchandise to get people’s money. No offense.
AMI: It’s all right. Now, why don’t we start looking for our friends?
PATAMON & GATOMON: Yeah!

[Ami picks Gatomon up and Patamon sits on her shoulder. A minute later, they head off into the unknown.]

[Further off two people are walking through a forest, neither one knowing the other was there, until they bumped into each other.]

BOTH: Ah! Who are you?!
PERSON 1: Stay back or I’ll send my monster friend at you!
PERSON 2: Then I’ll attack with my sword!
PERSON 1: Wait a minute. You sound too young to be an enemy.
PERSON 2: But you’re tall enough to be one.
PERSON 1: But I’m not. I don’t even know where I am or what happened to my friend.
PERSON 2: Then it seems like we’re on the same side.

[They walk a short distance until they come out into a small clearing.]

PERSON 1: I’m Ascot from Cephiro.
PERSON 2: I’m Li Showron from Reedington. So, you’re lost too?
ASCOT: Yes. My friend and I were sucked up by this white light. When I woke up, I was here alone.
LI: That’s just what happened with me. So, this friend of yours, it is that monster you mentioned?
ASCOT: Huh? No. It’s my friend, Umi. Well, I wish we could be more than friends, but...
LI: So where’s the monster?
ASCOT: I was sort of bluffing. I do have monster friends but when I woke up here, my jeweled glove that I use to summon them was gone. And what’s your story?
LI: Very similar to yours. My girlfriend Sakura and I were sucked up by this light and I woke up alone with my sword missing.
ASCOT: The girls must be here somewhere. Let’s go look for them. Two pairs of eyes are better than one.
LI: Right. Let’s go.

[They cross the clearing and re-enter the forest.]

[In some other part of this dark world, Excel is sitting on the ground near some huge boulders.]

EXCEL: What’s going on here? This isn’t the secret underground base of ACROSS. This must be some kind of mean trick. Idon’twanttospendtherestofmylifewanderingthisplace!LordIlpalazzoneedsme!AndMenchidoestoo!Whycouldn’thecome?Thisisexactlywhatthatmuttwasfor! I’m so hungry!
VOICE: Boy, are you loud.
EXCEL: Who’s there?

[A few rope lassos fly out from behind the rocks and catch Excel, pinning her arms and legs. One of the two beings picks her up and walks away.]

EXCEL: What do you think you’re doing?! Unhand me at once! Or at least give me something to eat!
BEING 2: Ugh. We should have brought a gag.
BEING 2: No kidding. (to Excel) Hey, shut-up back there!
EXCEL: No, I won’t be quiet! I’ll be as loud as I want! I’ll-- aahhh!

[Without warning, the one carrying Excel drops her into a huge hole where she lands with a thump.]

EXCEL: Ow!
BEING 1: Now stay there and stay quiet.
BEING 2: Uh-huh-huh. Thank you. thank you very much.
BEING 1: *sigh* Come on.
BEING 2: Right behind you, uh-huh-huh.
BEING 1 : Stop that!
EXCEL: Hey, wait! Come back!
VOICE: Save your voice. They won’t come back until they catch someone else.
EXCEL: Huh? Who are you?

[A teenage girl emerges from the shadows and starts to untie Excel’s bonds.]

GIRL: My name’s Serena. Those creepy things found me a while ago and threw me down here. I don’t even know what happened to my friends. I was alone when I woke up after being sucked up by some bright light.
EXCEL: Me too, except I was the only one sucked up. So why do you think you were taken in the first place?
SERENA: Well, you promise not to tell anyone?
EXCEL: I swear on the great honor of ACROSS!
SERENA: O-kay. I’m Sailor Moon. My two friends who were with me are also Sailor--
EXCEL: Oh, wow! You’re Sailor Moon?! This is so cool! This is fantastic! I’m a big fan of yours!
SERENA: Thank you.
EXCEL: So, can you transform right now?
SERENA: No. When I woke up I noticed my Crystal Locket was gone. I think one of those creepy things took it.
EXCEL: Hmm. Now that you mention it, my blaster’s gone. I didn’t notice before.
SERENA: So, who are you?
EXCEL: I am Excel Excel! Head agent of the Secret Ideological Organization known as ACROSS, run by Lord Ilpalazzo, which plans to conquer the city of F and take it for itself! Oh, that made me even hungrier. Do you have anything to eat?
SERENA: Sorry, I wish I did, but I dropped my lunch packet before I was brought here.
EXCEL: Are we going to be stuck here forever with no food?! I can’t stand it!
SERENA: I know. I’m even starting to miss my obnoxious younger brother, Sammy!
BOTH: Waaahhh!!!

[Back in Crossroads, Rini runs into the classroom, where Lita and Mina are talking, before the bell rings.]

MINA: Rini, what are you doing here?!
LITA: Where are Serena and Ami?
RINI: A white light appeared on the ground and sucked them up along with Hotaru.
MINA & LITA: What?!
MINA: What do we do?
LITA: All right, we have to stay calm. Every path has a beginning and an end. I’ll go get Raye and you two get Luna, Artemis, and Diana. We’ll meet in front of the library.
RINI: What’re we going to do them?
LITA: We’ll use one of the computers to track our friends down.
MINA: Right. Let’s go.

[In the mysterious world, Hotaru walks alone.]

HOTARU: What happened? Where is everyone? My transformation pen is gone and I’m all alone. Could this be the work of a new enemy?
VOICES: Patamon! Gatomon!
HOTARU: Someone’s coming!

[She quickly hides behind a tree.]

TK: I’m getting worried. We’ve been walking for an hour and we haven’t seen anyone.
KARI: I know. I’m even starting to wonder if they’re in another dimension.
TK: Well, let’s just hope they’re together. Wherever they are.

[Hotaru comes out from behind the tree.]

HOTARU: Uh, excuse me?
KARI: Hi! We were starting to wonder if we were the only one’s in this place.
HOTARU: I take it you were sent here too.
TK: Mmm-hmm. I’m TK Takaishi.
KARI: And I’m Kari Kamiya. We’re looking for our Digimon friends who were with us.
HOTARU: I’m Hotaru Tomoe. What are Digimon?
TK: They’re little creatures who when provoked, change bigger.
HOTARU: Oh. Well, I guess since we’re in this together, you should know that I’m also Sailor Saturn.
KARI: A Sailor Scout?! For real?!
HOTARU: Yes.
TK: And if you’re here, than our Digimon must be here too. We all must be in the same world.
HOTARU: And my friends Ami and Serena.
KARI: Come on, Hotaru. You can stick with us.

[And together, the three continue on their search.]

[Ami stops by a river and sets Gatomon on some soft grass. Patamon, who had been flying ahead, sits next to her.]

AMI: I’m going to go see if there’s anything edible to eat around here. I won’t be gone long.
PATAMON: All right,

[Ami leaves.]

GATOMON: Miss Ami is very nice.
PATAMON: It’s good thing we all bumped into each other. But I’m worried about TK and Kari. I hope they found each other in this weird place.
GATOMON: I’m sure they did. We woke up near each other, so maybe they did too.
PATAMON: You’re right.

[A rustling in the bushes is heard, and a blue-haired girl steps out.]

GATOMON: Miss Ami?
PATAMON: No, that’s not Miss Ami. She’s wearing a different outfit. Where’s Miss Ami? What have you done with her?
GIRL: What are you talking about? I don’t know anyone named Ami. And I haven’t seen a single living thing until now.
GATOMON: So you were captured too?
GIRL: Yes.
PATAMON: Then we’re all in this together.

[Ami returns.]

AMI: Guys, I found some berries... (sees the girl) Oh, hi.
GIRL: Hello.
GATOMON: She was captured just like us, Miss Ami.
AMI: Oh. I’m Ami Mizuno. It’s nice to meet you.
GIRL: I’m Mew Fumazuki. I’m glad I’m not alone here.
PATAMON: And we’re Digimon. I’m Patamon.
GATOMON: And my name’s Gatomon.
MEW: It’s nice to meet you too.
AMI: You’re welcome to join us, Mew. We’re looking for our friends. It’s safer than being by ourselves.
MEW: Thank you.
AMI: Patamon, could you help me gather the berries?
PATAMON: I’m coming. (to Gatomon) Be right back.

[Mew sits down with Gatomon as Ami and Patamon go and collect the berries.]

[Meanwhile, down in the deep hole...]

SERENA: Well, actually, I did make a big fuss when I was thrown in here, but I ran out of things to cry about.
EXCEL: Wow, we could be twins!
SERENA: Maybe in some other life.
VOICE: Hello, down there! Do you require assistance?
SERENA: Who are you?
VOICE 2: A friend. We heard you crying and came to investigate.
EXCEL: Can you help us get out of here.
VOICE: I don’t know. We don’t have any rope with us.
SERENA: Rope... That’s it! Excel, we could use the rope you were tied up in. All we have to do is tie the pieces together.
EXCEL: Good idea.

[In a few moments they’re done and Serena tosses one end of the rope to their saviors.]

VOICE: Umi, let’s tie it around this tree.
VOICE 2: Right. (to Serena & Excel) All right, you guys. We’re ready. Climb on out.

[In a little while, Serena and Excel are out of the hole and facing the other two.]

SERENA: Thank you for helping us get out.
EXCEL: Oh, I’m out.! I thought I’d never get out of that dark hole!

[She hugs first one, then the other person.]

SERENA: So, you were captured too?
PERSON 1: Yes. when we woke up, we were near each other, so we decided to stick together and look for our friends. I’m Sakura Kinomoto.
PERSON 2: And I’m Umi Ryuuzaki.
SERENA: I’m Serena Tsukino.
EXCEL: And my name’s Excel Excel! Free! I’m free!
UMI: Not really, Excel. We still need to find our friends.
SERENA: Right. I came here with my two friends., Ami and Hotaru.
SAKURA: Li and I were both captured.
UMI: And my friend Ascot.

[Suddenly, a big explosion rocks the ground.]

EXCEL: What’s that?
SERENA: This is getting scarier by the minute!
UMI: Let’s go check it out.
SAKURA: Mmm-hmm.

[In the Real World, Mina sits in front of a computer in the library, surrounded by Rini, Raye, Lita, Luna, Artemis, and Diana.]

MINA: I’m trying to use the frequency power of the Crystal Locket to try and find them, but I don’t understand any of this. Ami is much better at computers.
LUNA: But Ami’s not here.
LITA: Darien is on his way, though. Maybe he can help.

[A young man with a laptop case approaches with a red bug-like creature next to him.]

MAN: Excuse me. You aren’t by chance, looking for your friend, Sailor Moon?
ALL: Huh?!
MAN: A while ago, I received a note on my computer saying that two of my friends had been captured. I used the link between our digivices to try and find them. I finally located the digivices in another dimension, but when I was able to get a map of the area, I found others had been captured too. Three of them being Sailor Scouts. Then I tracked you down and here I am, to help.
RAYE: Who are you?
MAN: Oh. I’m sorry. I am Izzy Izumi and this is my Digimon, Tentomon.
TENTOMON: Greetings.
ARTEMIS: This makes us talking cats look normal.
RINI: So, can you really help Serena?
IZZY: I’ll do all I can.
TENTOMON: Izzy’s a whiz when it comes to computers.
MINA: Then by all means, go for it.

[She gets off her seat and Izzy sits down.]

IZZY: Thank you. Tentomon, set up my laptop, would you?
TENTOMON: No problem.

[In a few minutes, the two computers are connected.]

IZZY: All right, here is a map of the world...

[Suddenly a guy runs into the room.]

RINI: Darien!
DARIEN: I came as fast as I could. Where’s Serena?
MINA: We were just about to find out.
IZZY: This is a map of the world where our friends are. The blinking lights are all the people who were captured and where they are. This pink symbol and this green symbol next to each other represent my two friends, Kari and TK. The yellow crescent moon over here is Sailor Moon, and she is with three others, though I haven’t found out who yet.
TENTOMON: Working on it.
DIANA: There’s Sailor Saturn, with your friends.
MINA: And Sailor Mercury is with an orange dot, a purple dot, and a star dot.
IZZY: The two dots are TK and Kari’s Digimon, Patamon and Gatomon.
TENTOMON: I’m also trying to find out who the star is.

[Suddenly on the map, a bright yellow light blinks on, then disappears.]

RAYE: What was that?
IZZY: It must have been an explosion of some towards it.
DARIEN: It’s a trap.
RINI: Why don’t they transform and get out?
TENTOMON: I can answer that. It seems that whoever captured them, took away the items that they need. The transformation locket and pens from the Sailor Scouts, the D-3’s from TK and Kari, and items from the others which I haven’t figured out yet.
DARIEN: Serena... please be careful.

[Back in the unknown world, Patamon flies back to the others.]

PATAMON: We’re almost where that explosion came from. The ground is burnt up ahead.
AMI: Let’s be careful.
MEW: We don’t want anyone to know we’re here.
VOICE: It’s too late for that!
MEW: I know that voice.
VOICE 2: We’ve been watching you for awhile!
GATOMON: That sounds familiar.

[Two beings emerge from the shadows. One is a long orange worm with a thick metal collar around his neck. The other is more human-like with a black cape, red mask, and yellow hair.]

MEW: Mimizu-man?!
GATOMON & PATAMON: Myotismon?!
MYOTISMON: So, we meet again, Gatomon. You haven’t forgotten your old master. I am not so easily defeated.
GATOMON: This isn’t real. We destroyed you!
MEW: And Mica and I cut you into pieces, you ugly worm!
MIMIZU-MAN: You still haven’t learned any manners, have you?
AMI: Who are they?
MEW: Mimizu-man was trying to destroy the Parliament building, but he’s not very smart, and my partner Mica and I cut him up into little pieces.
GATOMON: And Myotismon tried to take over the Digital and Real Worlds several times, but was destroyed in the end.

[Patamon steps in front of Gatomon.]

PATAMON: Go away, Myotismon. If you want Gatomon, you’ll have to go through me.
MYOTISMON: Such heroics.
PATAMON: Boom Bubble, wah!
MYOTISMON: Crimson Lightning!

[The attack passes through the Boom Bubble, and hits Patamon away.]

GATOMON: Patamon!

[Gatomon runs over to him.]

GATOMON: Patamon, are you all right?
PATAMON: Don’t worry, Gatomon. I’ll protect you.
GATOMON: Patamon...

[Ami and Mew runs over to them. Ami picks up Patamon and Mew picks up Gatomon.]

AMI: We have to get out of here.
MEW: Right.

[They run into the trees.]

MIMIZU-MAN: They can run, but we’ll still find them.
MYOTISMON: Let’s go.

[Not that fat away, TK, Kari, and Hotaru emerge from the trees.]

TK: The blast came near here. We must be close.
VOICE: Closer than you think.
KARI & HOTARU: Huh?

[A being emerges from the trees. He is an orange monkey with a microphone and a yellow teddy bar strapped to his right upper leg.]

TK: Etemon!
ETEMON: It’s good to see you too, little man.
HOTARU: Who is Etemon?
KARI: My brother told me about him. He’s bad news.
TK: But how? We destroyed you!
ETEMON: Yes, but now I have been reborn! Dark Network!

[The attack rips through the ground towards them. Hotaru dodges it as it heads for Kari.]

TK: Kari, look out!
KARI: Oh...
ETEMON: Good-bye, girlie.

[Suddenly, TK jumps and pushes Kari to the ground. The attack flies over them and hits a tree.]

TK: Kari, are you all right?
KARI: I’m fine. Thank you, TK.
TK: I thought I almost lost you.
KARI: I’ll never leave you.
ETEMON: All right, enough mishy-mushy love scenes.. I’ve been instructed to bring you in.
HOTARU: Instructed? Who are you working for?
ETEMON: Now, little lady, that’s for me to know, and you to find out. Now, come on.
TK: We have no choice right now. We have to go with him.
KARI: All right,
HOTARU: Mmm-hmm.
ETEMON: Good choice. Thank you. Thank you very much.

[Somewhere sort of nearby, Umi, Sakura, Excel, and Serena walk.]

SERENA: Can we stop and rest? My feet hurt.
EXCEL: Mine too.
UMI: Might as well.
SAKURA: Right.

[They all sit under a tree.]

SAKURA: I was so sure I heard voices.
UMI: Maybe it’s best that we didn’t fund out.
VOICE: Psst...
GIRLS: Aaahh!
VOICE: Shh. It’s just us.

[Two boys emerge from some bushes.]

SAKURA: Li!
UMI: Ascot!

[They run and hug them.]

UMI: Are you all right, Ascot?
ASCOT: I’m fine. How ‘bout you?
UMI: Good.

[They all sit down again.]

LI: I was using the Lasin Board to find you. Luckily, it wasn’t taken. But it also pointed out a power item. I’m not sure what it is, but I want to check it out. It might be something of ours.
SAKURA: I’m coming too,
LI: It might be dangerous.
SAKURA: I don’t care. I’m stating with you.
SERENA: But is it a good idea to split up?
EXCEL: You might get even more lost than we are now.
UMI: We’ll be okay. If this power source can help us, them we should let them check it out.
ASCOT: I’ll stay here with the girls to protect them.
LI: All right. Let’s go, Sakura.
SAKURA: Right.

[The two of them leave.]

[In the library...]v TENTOMON: I’ve found out who the others are. The star is Mew Fumazuki, a warrior from another world. A Hyperdoll.
RAYE: Hyperdoll?
RINI: Sounds sort of silly.
TENTOMON: The three with Sailor Moon are the following: The white dote is Excel Excel, though I can’t find anything else on her.
MINA: Same first and last name?
TENTOMON: The blue heart is Umi Ryuuzaki, a Magic Knight for Cephiro.
ARTEMIS: How many worlds are there?
TENTOMON: And the pink heart is Sakura Kinomoto, a middle school girl with magical powers.
DARIEN: But who are the two new ones with them?
TENTOMON: The green square is Li Showron, a friend of Sakura’s. And the green diamond is Ascot, a warrior of Cephiro.
DIANA: How do you know all this?
IZZY: Don’t ask.
LITA: But now who are all these new dots?
MINA: And why are the Sakura girl and Li going off in a different direction?
TENTOMON: I’ve almost got it...
INTERCOM: Attention, please. The library will be closing in fifteen minutes. Please bring your items to the front desk to check out. Thank you.
DARIEN: What do we do now?
IZZY: Hmm. We can go to my house. I have another computer there. My parents are our of town for the night, so they won’t mind.
*Ring*
IZZY: Oh, excuse me. (pulls out a cellphone) Hello? Tai. *pause* Matt’s with you? *pause* Yes. TK is with Kari. *pause* They’re in another dimension.
TAI: (through phone) WHAT?!
IZZY: Calm down. Meet us at my house. We’ll be there soon. then I’ll explain everything. (puts cellphone away) Ready?
RINI: Let’s go!
EVERYONE ELSE: *nod*

[Up in a tree sit, Ami, Mew, Patamon, and Gatomon.]

MEW: We should be safe up here. At least for awhile.
PATAMON: But we can’t stay up here forever.
GATOMON: He’s right. What we need is a plan.
AMI: then let’s start thinking.
ALL: Hmm... I got it! No. Hmm.
PATAMON: Wait a minute. Can you hear something?
VOICE 1: My feet hurt. Can’t we stop and rest?
VOICE 2: You just had a rest a little while ago.
VOICE 1: But I need another one.
VOICE 3: Me too. Come on, Aspirin.
VOICE 2: It’s Ascot!
AMI: I’d know that whiny voice anywhere.

[She jumps down from the tree.]

PATAMON, GATOMON, & MEW: Huh?
AMI: Serena, it’s you.
VOICE 1: Huh?! Ami! You’re okay!

[She gives Ami a big hug and starts to cry.]

SERENA: Oh, Ami, I’m so happy to see you! I was so worried!
AMI: I’m all right, Serena, but you’d better keep it down. Some monsters are looking for us.
SERENA: Us?

[Mew, Gatomon, and Patamon jump down from the tree.]

EXCEL & SERENA: Monsters!
PATAMON: Where? Oh, you mean us?
AMI: It’s all right. They’re my friends.
EXCEL: And such cute friends at that.
UMI: They look nothing like the monsters of Cephiro. These guys are cute and cuddly.
ASCOT: So are the monsters after you like them?
MEW: No. They’re bigger and scarier. One is a creature I’ve battled before and beaten.
GATOMON: And the other is one we’ve fought and destroyed.
SERENA: Monsters coming back from the dead?
EXCEL: It’s like a ghost story.
AMI: But this ghost story is real. We still have to find the others and get our powers back.
UMI: Sakura and Li went to investigate a power source they found.
SERENA: And Hotaru is still missing.
PATAMON: And TK and Kari as well.
MEW: But where are they?
AMI: Let’s hope they’re together.

[In another part of the mysterious world.]

ETEMON: Faster! Hurry up!
TK: *whisper* Kari, do you notice something different about Etemon?
KARI: *whisper* No. Not from the pictures I’ve seen.
TK: *whisper* Did he always wear that black collar?
KARI: *whisper* No. You’re right. And that belt, too. He never had those.
HOTARU: *whisper* And see what’s hanging from the belt? Gold star earrings and a blaster. TK: *whisper* There must be others here as well.
ETEMON: That’s enough! Quiet!

[Farther away...]

LI: We’re almost there.
SAKURA: That’s good.
LI: There it is!
SAKURA: I can’t believe it! It’s here!

[Back with the larger group...]

EXCEL: So what do we do now? I want to go home.
UMI: We all do. But we don’t know how.
MEW: Well, we can’t just sit here. Someone might find us.
VOICE: Too late.
ALL: Huh?!

[A woman in a purple dress with red hair emerges from the shadows.]

AMI & SERENA: Queen Beryl?!
SERENA: No way! I turned you into moon dust. You can’t be the real Beryl!
BERYL: You’re right. I’m not. But thanks to my master’s powers, I have been re-born even more powerful.
AMI: You mean you’re just a copy.
EXCEL: Let’s get out of here!

[She turns to run, but finds her way blocked by Mimizu-man and Myotismon.]

EXCEL: Aiiieeee!!!
MYOTISMON: Going somewhere?
MEW: They’re back.
BERYL: Ah, reinforcements. But Mimizu-man, why are you here? You were ordered to guard the key, the jeweled glove, and the purple wand.
MIMIZU-MAN: Hey, I wanted to be part of the action too, you know.
BERYL: Idiot. Well, the master wants these kids, so let’s go.
MYOTISMON: But where are the two little Digimon?

[Patamon and Gatomon are nowhere to be seen.]

BERYL: Fools! You let them get away! And we have no time to look for them. The master is waiting.

[They all walk away, leading their prisoners. When it’s quiet again, two Digimon pop out of the bushes.]

PATAMON: Whew! That was close.
GATOMON: But al least our plan worked. that red-haired woman was so busy talking that she didn’t notice you grab the D-3’s and that stringed ball from her belt.
PATAMON: But without TK and Kari we can’t use them.
GATOMON: Then let’s go find them.

[In the Real World, everyone is gathered in Izzy’s room along with Tai and Matt. Tentomon is the only one missing.]

IZZY: Tentomon will be back soon with the friends of the others who were captured.
TAI: Yeah, okay, but do you know how to get them out of that wakko place? It’s night and Mom and Dad are worried sick ‘cause they haven’t heard from Kari.
MATT: The same with my parents about TK.
IZZY: There doesn’t seem to be a doorway there anywhere.
TAI: Then find one!
IZZY: Yelling at me isn’t going to help anyone! I’ve tried everything, but it seems all we can do is watch what’s going on.
RAYE: Even that’s better than nothing.
MINA: We have to believe in them.

[The doorbell rings. Matt goes to answer it and shortly returns with two girls.]

MATT: They said a red bug told them to come here. I assume they mean Tentomon.
GIRL 1: That’s his name.
GIRL 2: Do you really know where Sakura is?

[The yellow stuffed animal she is carrying suddenly flies up.]

KERO: What have you done with Sakura? If she’s hurt or anything, you’ll be sorry! That brat Li, you can keep.
MADISON: *whisper* Kero!
KERO: Okay, we want him back too,
LITA: We haven’t done anything with them. They were captured and taken to another world.
MADISON: When Sakura and Li were taken, my camcorder happened to be on. But it doesn’t show anything that we hadn’t seen.
GIRL 1: And Mew was taken by a white light as well.
DARIEN: Look at the screen!
ALL: Huh?!

[They all look at the computer screen.]

LUNA: Serena’s and Ami’s groups have met up, but now they are captured.
ARTEMIS: Except for the two Digimon dots. See? They got away and now they’re following the others.
DIANA: And Hotaru’s captured as well.
IZZY: They’re all heading to the same place. It’s where the explosion earlier happened.
MICA: Now what’s going to happen?

[In the mysterious world, the two groups of prisoners meet in a large clearing.]

SERENA & AMI: Hotaru!
HOTARU: Guys!
VOICE: Quiet! We don’t have time for reunions. We’re behind schedule already.

[A human figure walks towards them with a woman walking slightly behind him.]

ASCOT & UMI: Alcyone?!
PERSON: Yes, quite a likeness, isn’t she?
TK: Just who are you? And why have you brought us here?
PERSON: Oh, forgive me for my rudeness. I am the lord of this world and soon yours will be mine. You may call me Bob. I had been wandering the universe for eons, alone. Then I came upon your wonderful planet, Earth. A beautiful planet, perfect for my needs. but then, I found you, the protectors of my future world. I had to get rid of you. So, I studied you and came up with a plan. Capture one or two from each team and hold them for ransom. The price: total and unconditional surrender and all of your magical devices. Yes, a genius plan, if I do say so myself. These enemies of old here are just copies of the real ones.
MEW: So you’re the one that took my earring!
SERENA: And my brooch!
BOB: Yes. all of your items are now mine. Held by my servants. Now your world will be mine!
SERENA: We won’t let you take it!
BOB: What?!
AMI: We won’t let an evil creature like you control our home.
MEW: We’ve protected it from creeps like you.
UMI: And we’ll continue to do so.
BOB: Such heroic nonsense. Haven’t you heard? Those who fight together, fall together.

[He holds up his hand and sends a mighty blast towards them, causing them all to hit the ground.]

[In the Real World, Tentomon has returned with Umi’s friends Hikaru and Fuu.]

IZZY: What happened?
ALL: Huh?!
IZZY: I lost the map. It’s gone.

[Then a voice comes from the computer.]

BOB: Hello. I see you’ve hacked your way into my system. It doesn’t matter. I have your friends and I will return them to you if you agree to surrender all your magical items. I must warn you, though. The longer you wait, the more your friends will get hurt. See?

[An image pops up on the computer of the current situation in the other world.]

HIKARU: Alcyone?
FUU: There’s Miss Umi and Ascot.
DARIEN: They’re all there.

[In the mysterious world, everyone picks themselves up from the ground.]

TK: We can’t give up.
KARI: Every person has a weakness.
BOB: Who are you kidding? Without your digivices you two are useless.
PATAMON: TK!
GATOMON: Kari!

[The two Digimon pop out of the bushes and toss the two D-3’s to their friends.]

BOB: What?!
BERYL: How did they get them?
TK: Ready, Kari?
KARI: You bet!
BOTH: Digivolve now!
PATAMON: Patamon, digivolve to...
ANGEMON: Angemon!
GATOMON: Gatomon, digivolve to...
ANGEWOMON: Angewomon!
BOB: Impossible.
ALCYONE: Well, Beryl, I see you messed up again. You couldn’t defeat the Sailor Scouts before and now those two brats have the items you were supposed to guard.
BERYL: Watch your mouth, Alcyone.
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!

[Bob raises his hand again and a force field comes up in front of him, fizzling out the attack.]

ANGEWOMON: Heaven’s Charm!

[The attack is blocked as well.]

BOB: Do you really think you two can defeat me?!
ANGEMON: Let’s try a combo attack.
ANGEWOMON: Good idea.
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!
ANGEWOMON: Celestial Arrow!

[The two attack merge and manage to crack the force field.]

BOB: What?!
ALCYONE: Worry not, my lord. Icicle Assault!

[Hundreds of ice spears come flying a the two Digimon, knocking them to the ground.]

TK & KARI: No!
BOB: *laugh* In the end that’s all those two were good for. Target practice.
EXCEL: He’s so strong.
MEW: It doesn’t seem like we can beat him.

[The two angel Digimon slowly rise to their feet.]

ANGEMON: We can’t give up.
ANGEWOMON: Even thought the odds are stacked against us, we’ll win.
ALCYONE: Oh, Ascot. Why don’t you come to our side. I promise we’ll let your monster friends live.
ASCOT: And let you hurt Umi?! Never! I’ll never let you or anyone else have her!
UMI: Ascot...
ASCOT: You’re a witch, Alcyone, and I’m ashamed that I ever worked alongside you.
ALCYONE: Why you impertinent--
BOB: That’s enough, Alcyone. The boy’s chosen his fate. Now he has to live with it. Now, attack them, Myotismon!
MYOTISMON: Grizzly Wings!
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!

[The attacks hit the ones they’re aimed at.]

TK: Angemon!
ANGEMON: *weakly* Now, Angewomon!

[Myotismon tries to get up when Angewomon flies low and rips the belt off his waist.]

MYOTISMON: Give that back. I stole it from you first!
AMI: My wand!
UMI: My glove!

[The two items shine and return to their owners. When Umi pulls the glove on, her armor reappears, though in a different form.]

AMI: Mercury Crystal Power!

[And she transforms into Sailor Mercury.]

BOB: This can’t be happening!
UMI: I can, and it did!
SAILOR MERCURY: Your plans are slowly turning to dust!
BOB: I don’t think so. Myotismon, finish those two kids off.
MYOTISMON: as you command, Master.
UMI: Saffire Whirlwind!
MYOTISMON: Grizzly Wings!

[He knocks the attack away.]

SAILOR MERCURY: Mercury Bubble Blast!
MYOTISMON: Nightmare Claw!

[The attack gets knocked away as well.]

UMI & SAILOR MERCURY: Huh?!
BOB: *laugh* You see? No one can defeat my clones. They’re more powerful than the original!

[In the Real World...]

MICA: He’s still so powerful.
FUU: But didn’t he say he’d let them go if we handed over our items?
RAYE: Yeah, but he didn’t say in what condition they’d be in.
DARIEN: I wish there was something we could do to help.
TAI: We all do.
KERO: There has to be something.
IZZY: I’ve found it! I know how they can defeat the clones! Now, if I can figure a way to transmit the information to them...

[At the battle field...]

UMI: We need to change our strategy, or none of us are getting out of here alive.
VOICE: Wood!
ALL: Huh?!

[All of a sudden, vines break through the ground and wrap around Myotismon, Mimizu-man, Etemon, and Queen Beryl.]

BERYL: What’s this?

[From out of the trees flies Sakura and Li on her winged star wand.]

SAKURA: I’m glad we made it in time.
EXCEL: You’re all okay!
LI: Yeah, and we brought back these.

[He holds out a green jeweled glove and a purple wand.]

ASCOT: My glove!
HOTARU: My transformation wand!
SERENA: How did you find them?
SAKURA: When we went to investigate the power source, we found these along with my Star Key.
UMI: Are we glad you did.
KARI: The tides are turning.
LI: I just wish I knew who had my sword.
TK: What’s it look like?
LI: Well, in the form it’s in now, it would look like a stringed ball.
ANGEWOMON: A stringed ball? Angemon, could that be the thing we swiped off that Beryl person?

[Angemon unhooks an item from his belt.]

LI: That’s it! Thank you.

[He holds it up and it transforms into a sword.]

BOB: Enough! This has gone too far.

[He holds up his hand and the vines break off the four clones.]

HOTARU: Saturn Planet Power!

[She transforms into Sailor Saturn.]

LI: Let’s give it another shot!
SAKURA & LI: Lightning!
SAILOR SATURN: Silence Glaive Surprise!
UMI: Saffire Whirlwind!
SAILOR MERCURY: Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!
ANGEWOMON: Celestial Arrow!

[All the clones manage to duck out of the way of the blast except for Etemon. The black collar falls to the ground.]

ASCOT: Umi, use your sword!
UMI: Right!

[She brings her sword out and with a mighty swing, cuts though Etemon.]

ETEMON: Looks like I’ve sung my final note. Uh-huh-huh!

[In a flash, he disintegrates.]

EXCEL: All right! You got him!
BOB: How? How did you discover the secret?
SERENA: Secret? What’s he talking about?
SAILOR MERCURY: Hmm. I know. It’s those black collars they’re all wearing. Once it fell off, you were able to destroy that monkey. Those collars must replenish their energy.
SERENA: That’s our genius, Ami!
UMI: And look what I picked up. Gold earrings and a blaster.
MEW & EXCEL: That’s mine!

[Excel takes the blaster and Mew takes her star earrings and puts them on.]

EXCEL: All right. I’m back in action!
KARI: What do those earring do?
MEW: I’ll show you. Conversion... Activate!

[She transforms into her blue Hyperdoll outfit.]

MEW: The star earrings show no mercy!
SERENA: No fair, everyone’s transformed but me!
SAILOR SATURN: Where’s your locket?
SERENA: I don’t know!
UMI: That must be it!

[She points to Alcyone who wears a pink and yellow brooch on her chest.]

SERENA: Yes! That witch has it!
EXCEL: Then let’s get it back!

[They all face Alcyone and Bob when Beryl, Myotismon, and Mimizu-man block their way.]

BERYL: You’ll have to go through us first.
ANGEMON: With pleasure.
SAILOR MERCURY: Remember, guys. Aim for the neck bands!

[Excel fires her blaster and Ascot sends out a power-bolt.]

MEW: Naipon Fire!
SAILOR SATURN: Silence Glaive Surprise!
SAILOR MERCURY: Mercury Aqua Mirage!
UMI: Saffire Whirlwind!
SAKURA & LI: Lightning!
ANGEWOMON: Heaven’s Charm!
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!

[The attacks hit all three clones, causing their black collars to fall off.]

BOB: They’re stronger than I thought.
MEW: Mimizu-man’s mine!
MIMIZU-MAN: No, no, wait! Please, wait! No!
MEW: Sword Kill!
MIMIZU-MAN: Aaahh!

[He disintegrates.]

ANGEMON & ANGEWOMON: Now for Myotismon!
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!
ANGEWOMON: Celestial Arrow!
MYOTISMON: You can’t beat me! Arggghhh!

[He disintegrates while Queen Beryl runs to Bob’s side.]

BERYL: I am sorry, my lord. Please protect me.
ALCYONE: Pleading, Beryl? And just when I thought you couldn’t get any lower.
BOB: Beryl, you have out-lived your usefulness. With your collar gone, there’s no need to protect you now, is there?
BERYL: But, my lord--
ALCYONE: Quit begging. You’re embarrassing yourself.
BERYL: I’ve had enough of you.

[Beryl tackles Alcyone to the ground, in the process, ripping the brooch from Alcyone’s chest. The two stand up, facing each other.]

BOB: Enough! You will cease fighting each other instantly. Beryl, give me the locket.
VOICE: Thank you!
BOB: What?!

[Excel had sneaked up behind and grabs the locket when Beryl was about to hand it over.]

BOB: Stop her!

[Beryl sends a blast of energy at Excel.]

ANGEMON: Angel Staff!

[Angemon intervenes and blocks the attack.]

EXCEL: Here you go, Serena.
SERENA: My locket! Thanks, Excel! I owe you one. Moon Crisis Power!

[In a flash, she transforms into Super Sailor Moon.]

SAILOR MOON: Moon Gorgeous Meditation!

[The attack hits Queen Beryl, disintegrating her.]

BERYL: Aaaaahhh!!
ALL: All right!
UMI: Now it’s our turn! Ready, Ascot?
ASCOT: Oh, yeah!

[He sends a blast of energy out.]

UMI: Water Dragon!

[The attacks hit Alcyone, but before the smoke clears, Umi runs in and cuts the collar off of Alcyone’s neck.]

ALCYONE: No! It can’t be!

[Ascot sends another blast at Alcyone, disintegrating her.]

TK: Now for Bob.
KARI: Let’s get him!
BOB: *sigh* I’ve always said, if you want something done right, do it yourself.

[He holds up his hands.]

BOB: Saffire Whirlwind!

[Umi and Ascot are thrown to the ground.]

SAKURA: But isn’t that Umi’s attack?
LI: What sort of trick are you playing?
BOB: Oh. It’s not a trick at all. Lightning!

[The attack knocks Sakura and Li down.]

BOB: And now one for the Sailors. Sailor Planet Attack!

[The three Sailor Scouts hit the ground.]

BOB: *laugh* Seven Heavens!

[Angemon, TK, Angewomon, and Kari are thrown to the ground.]

BOB: Napalm Fire!

[Mew and Excel fall down.]

BOB: Now don’t you see? I’m invincible!
SAILOR MOON: But how? How do you know all of our attacks?
BOB: Isn’t it obvious? I did mention that I studied you before I made my move. That includes your attacks. There’s no possible way you can beat me. Surrender to me now!
KARI: What are we supposed to do?
TK: One thing’s for sure, we’re not surrendering.
LI: Right. We’re not going to give up that easily.
MEW: We just need to work together.
SAKURA: But he knows all of our attacks.
UMI: Then we’ll just have to come up with some new ones.
EXCEL: How? It’s not like we can take a class on new attacks.
SAILOR SATURN: But we don’t have to.
SAILOR MOON: What do you mean?
SAILOR MERCURY: I get it. We combine some of our attacks to mix him up.
SAILOR SATURN: Right.
ANGEWOMON: It might work. What do you think?
ANGEMON: It’s worth a shot.
ASCOT: I agree.
LI: Me too.
TK: So let’s do it!
BOB: Bring it on!

[He puts up a force field in front of himself.]

UMI: Ready, Sakura?
SAKURA: You bet. Lightning!
UMI: Water Dragon!

[The attacks merge and hit the force field, shattering half of it.]

BOB: what?! I don’t know that attack.
ANGEWOMON: that’s because it’s never been used before. Celestial Arrow!
MEW: Water Marine Shooter!
SAILOR SATURN: Silence Glaive Surprise!

[The attacks merge and shatter the rest of the force field.]

BOB: Impossible!
SAILOR MERCURY: No it’s not. Not when we all work together.
BOB: I’ll still win!
LI: Wanna bet? Lightning!
ANGEMON: Hand of Fate!
ASCOT: Energy Blast!

[Bob tries to block the attack, but is knocked down.]

BOB: Grrr...
SAILOR MOON: One final shot should do it! Moon Tiara Magic!
EXCEL: Blaster!
SAILOR MERCURY: Shine Aqua Illusion!

[The area around Bob erupts in an explosion. As the smoke clears, Bob weakly gets to his feet.]

BOB: I cannot lose!
SAILOR MOON: You just did. In the name of everything we all fight for, we will punish you!

[She closes her eyes and transforms into her Eternal Moon uniform.]

MEW: Zero Cannon!

[Bob disintegrates in a flash of light.]

SAILOR MOON: We did it!
ALL: Yay!

[Angemon and Angewomon de-digivolve as the ground starts to shake.]

EXCEL: What’s going on now?

[Trees start falling around them.]

SAILOR MERCURY: with bob gone, this world must be disappearing!
UMI: But how to we get out of here before it’s completely gone?
PATAMON: Through that!

[He points up to the sky where a large circle of light has appeared.]

SAILOR SATURN: how can we get up there?
MEW: I can carry one.
SAKURA: So can I.
SAILOR MOON: I can fly.
GATOMON: We can carry three each.
ASCOT: You?!
TK: Yeah, just watch this.
TK & KARI: DigiArmor Energize!
PATAMON: Patamon, armor digivolve to...
GATOMON: Gatomon, armor digivolve to...
PEGASUSMON: Pegasusmon, Flying Hope!
NEFERTIMON: Nefertimon, the Angel of Light!
ALL: Wow...
KARI: Let’s go!
SAKURA: Fly!

[Wings sprout from the back of her Star Wand and she climbs on, followed by Li. Kari sits on Nefertimon’s back with Sailor Mercury and Sailor Saturn behind her. TK gets on Pegasusmon with Ascot and Umi behind him. And lastly, Mew picks up Excel.]

MEW: Hold on!
EXCEL: Aaahh!!
SAILOR MOON: Here we go! Follow me!

[In Izzy’s apartment.]

IZZY: They did it! They beat him!
MINA: And now they’re coming back.
MICA: Where will they appear?
TENTOMON: Hmm... Let me see.
HIKARU: I’m so glad they won.
MADISON: I admit, I did have some doubts.
DARIEN: But combining their attacks was brilliant.
TENTOMON: Right here.
TAI: What’s right here?
TENTOMON: The end of the tunnel. It’s right here.
KERO: You mean--
RAYE: They’re going to appear right here?!

[A bright circle of light appears on the ceiling.]

FUU: I believe they are.

[In a jumble of arms and legs, Serena, Ami, Hotaru, TK, Kari, Patamon, Gatomon, Excel, Mew, Umi, Ascot, Sakura, and Li come tumbling out of the hole and land on everyone else.]

EXCEL: This I could do without.

[Everyone gets back to their feet. Umi hugs Fuu and Hikaru. TK and Kari hug their older brothers. Patamon and Gatomon each give Tentomon a hug. Mew gives Mica and hug; Sakura hugs Madison while Li and Kero stare at each other.]

KERO: Don’t expect a hug from me.
LI: It’s okay.
KERO: Anyway, welcome back.
LI: *nod* Thanks.

[Ami and Hotaru hug their friends as Serena runs into Darien’s arms.]

SERENA: Oh, Darien... I missed you so much! *cries*
DARIEN: Serena, I’m so glad you’re okay.
UMI: Wait, what are we going to tell our parents?
IZZY: Already taken care of. They all think you’re staying at a mutual friends house.
FUU: And in fact, we are. We’re all friends now.
EXCEL: Sleepover! I just have to make a quick phone call.
IZZY: There’s a phone in the living room.
EXCEL: Thank you!

[She runs into the living room and dials a number on the phone.]

VOICE: Yes? Do you know how late it is?
EXCEL: Hail, Ilpalazzo!
ILPALAZZO: Oh, it’s you Excel.
EXCEL: LordIlpalazzo,Imustexplainaboutmyabsensetoday.
ILPALAZZO: No, it’s all--
EXCEL: Well,thismorningIwasfeedingMenchiwhenawhitelightsuckedmeupandtookmetothistotallyweirdanddarkworld.Iwasalonewhenthesetwowacked-outbeings,onesoundinglikethatAmericanPriestlyguy,grabbedmeandthrewmedownahole.ThereImetanothergirlwhohadbeencapturedaswellandweexchangedstorieswhilewaitingforsomeonetorescueus.Afterafrustratingfoodgame,twogirlsrescuedusandtogetherwesetouttofindtheirfriends.Soonwemetupwithtwobyswhowerefriendsofthetwogirlswhohadrescuedusearlier.Oneofhteboysandagirlwentofftofindthispowersourcetheyfoundandtherestofusstartedwalkingagain.Awhilelaterweranintoafriendofthegirlwhohadbeentrappedintheholewithmeandwithherwasanothergirlandtwocutelittlecreatures.ThenwewereallcapturedandtakentomeetthebigbosswhowantedtotakeoverEarthandcapturedustoransomusoff.Thecutecreaturesturnedbiggertofightthebadguy’sminionclonesandeventuallyeveryoneelsewasabletogetinonthefightandhelp.Ievengotmyblasterback.AllofuswereabletodefeattheminionsandturnedonBob.MixingupourattackswewereabletobeathimandsaveEarth!Thenthatmysteriouscreepyworldstartedtocollapseandfallapartwhenaportalappearedandwewereallabletogethome.NowI’matanewfriendshouseandwe’reallgoingtohaveabiglseepoverbutIthoughtIshouldfirstcalltoletyouknowwhathappenedandwhyIwasn’taroundtoday.Itwasscarybutalsofun.IgottofightalongsidefthreeSailorScouts,aHyperdoll,twoDigimon,twoCardCaptors,anawesomewarrior,andaspellcaster!AndthatiswhyIwasn’taround,LordIlpalazzo!
ILPALAZZO: [silence]
EXCEL: Lord Ilpalazzo?
ILPALAZZO: Huh? What? Oh, uh, good work, Excel, very well done. I’ll see you later. Have a good night.

[Hangs up.]

EXCEL: Oh, that’s a relief. I was so sure he’d be mad.
SERENA: Excel, come on! Hurry up! We’re going to order pizza!
EXCEL: Pizza?! I’m coming!

[A few days later, TK, Kari, Patamon, and Gatomon are sitting under a tree. Next to them is a large picnic basket.]

KARI: I hope we brought enough food.
TK: I’m sure we did.
GATOMON: The way Excel and Serena ate at the sleepover was amazing.
PATAMON: I never saw anyone eat so fast and so much and still have room for more.
VOICE: Kari! TK! We’re here!
KARI: Hi, Serena! Ami, Hotaru!
PATAMON: Miss Ami!
TK: You know, I’ve been meaning to ask, why ‘miss’?
AMI: Well,--
PATAMON: Miss Ami saved Gatomon. She wouldn’t wake up and Miss Ami came along with a cloth, which I wet, and woke her up!
GATOMON: Miss Ami’s going to be a great doctor!
AMI: *blush*
VOICE: Serena!
ALL: Huh?!

[Walking towards them are Raye, Lita, Mina, and Rini. They’re all carrying large picnic baskets.]

RAYE: Some help would have been nice, Serena!
SERENA: But I wanted to say hi!
RAYE: You really are a Meatball-Head, aren’t you.
SERENA: Come on, Raye. That’s mean!
LITA: Besides, we’re supposed to have fun.
MINA: No fighting now.

[Patamon and Gatomon grab a bag and sneak up into a tree.]

RINI: look! Here comes Mew and Mica.
MEW: Hi, everyone!
MICA: Hello!
ALL: Hi!
HOTARU: A big celebration for defeating Bob.
MICA: But why choose the name Bob?
KARI: I don’t know.
VOICE: That is a weird name for someone who wants to take over the world to choose.
AMI: It’s Sakura and Li!
RINI: And Madison and Kero!
VOICE: And me, Excel!

[Excel pops out from behind a tree.]

ALL: Ah!
SERENA: You scared us.
EXCEL: He he. I’d like to introduce you to my dog, Menchi!

[She holds up one end of a leash, the other end is around Menchi’s neck. Menchi pulls on the leash.]

KARI: How cute!
TK: Yeah, but isn’t he trying to get away?
MENCHI: *whine*
EXCEL: Oh, no. He’s just happy to be here. and I brought a case of wasabi peas!

[She holds up a gigantic container.]

ALL: All of that I wasabi peas?!
EXCEL: Yep!
VOICE: We’re here!
SAKURA: Umi, Hikaru, and Fuu!
EXCEL: And Aspirin!
ASCOT: It’s Ascot!!
MICA: Now that we’re all here, let the party begin!
SERENA: But Darien’s not here yet.
TK: And wasn’t Izzy going to come to?
LI: They’re they are!

[Darien and Izzy approach.]

DARIEN: Sorry I’m late.
SERENA: Darien!

[She gives him a big hug.]

LI: Where’s Tentomon?
IZZY: Oh, he’ll be along shortly.

[Suddenly, the ground starts to shake as a giant blue creature walks their way.]

MADISON: Another monster?!
TK: No, it’s a Digimon. Kabuterimon, the Champion form of Tentomon.
KABUTERIMON: I will crush the city!
UMI: Why is he acting this way?!
KARI: Izzy, what’s going on?
IZZY: Just watch.
KABUTERIMON: This city will be mine!
VOICE: Not if we have anything to say about it!
ALL: Huh?!

[A red rose comes flying out of the tree and imbeds itself in the ground. Everyone looks up where :Patamon and Gatomon stand on a tree branch.]

PATAMON: I am Tuxedo Mask! Enemy of evil and protector of Sailor Moon!
GATOMON: And I am Sailor Moon. Champion of Justice! In the name of the Moon...
BOTH: We will punish you!
SERENA: How cute!

[Patamon is wearing a white shirt, black cape, a black top-hat, and white eye mask. Gatomon is wearing a mini-version of Super Sailor Moon’s outfit complete with wand and tiara.]

KABUTERIMON: No, not Sailor Moon?!
GATOMON: Let’s do it, Tuxedo Mask!
PATAMON: Right with you, Sailor Moon! Rose Boom Bubble, wah!
GATOMON: Moon Lightning Paw!

[Kabuterimon falls over and de-digivolves back to Tentomon.]

TENTOMON: I’m finished.
PATAMON & GATOMON: Yay!

[Everyone claps as Tentomon joins the group.]

SERENA: That was great!
DARIEN: A real likeness.
GATOMON: Thank you.
PATAMON: We didn’t hurt you, did we Tentomon?
TENTOMON: No sweat.
TK: That was quite a surprise.
KARI: You guys did great.
GATOMON: We’ve been working on it all week. We recruited Izzy because Tentomon can’t digivolve without him.
AMI: You could get together with your other Digimon friends to re-enact our battles.
PATAMON: That’s a great idea, Miss Ami.
GATOMON: Mmm-hmm.
EXCEL: Well, this is a picnic, so let’s eat!
ALL: All right!

[Everyone lays out their blankets and unload the food. Umi and Ascot walk away from the group.]

UMI: Ascot, I wanted to tell you that you were really brave to stand up to Alcyone like that.
ASCOT: I wouldn’t let anyone hurt you.
UMI: I know. And I’ve also realized something that I guess I’ve always known. I-- I--
ASCOT: I love you, Umi!
UMI: What?!
ASCOT: *blush*
UMI: Really?
ASCOT: Yes. I have for awhile.
UMI: I love you too. I just never realized it until that big battle. You’re really special to me.
ASCOT: Umi...

[He leans down and kisses her.]

[A few minutes later, they return to the group where everyone is trying Excel’s wasabi peas.]

EXCEL: Good, huh? Extra wasabi!
MINA: Did you say--
KERO: Extra--
HIKARU: Wasabi?
EXCEL: Mmm-hmm.
ALL: Water! Water!!

PATAMON: Wait a minute! I haven’t kissed Gatomon! Tuxedo Mask always kisses Sailor Moon!

[He leans over and kisses Gatomon.]

DARIEN: You know, he’s right.
