CUB SCOUT PACK #37 REQUIREMENTS
FOR THE CITIZENSHIP ACADEMICS BELT LOOP/PIN/LETTER
Complete these three requirements for Belt Loop (Year One):

Develop a list of jobs you can do around the home. Chart your progress for one week.
____
Make a poster showing things that you can do to be a good citizen.
____
Participate in a family, Den/Patrol, or school service project.
Earn the Citizenship Belt Loop and complete five of the following
requirements for the Citizenship Pin (Year Two):

Interview someone who has become a naturalized citizen. Give a report of your interview to your Den/Patrol.
____
Write a letter to your newspaper about an issue that concerns
you.
____
Create a collage about America.
____
Conduct a home safety or energy audit and inspect your home.
Talk with your parent or adult partner about correcting any
problems you find.
____
Visit your local site of government. Interview someone who is
involved with the governmental process.
____
Visit a court room and talk with someone who works there.
____
Go to the polls with your parents when they vote. Talk to them
about their choices.
____
Take part in a parade with your Den/Patrol or Pack.
____
List ways you can recycle various materials and conserve and
protect the environment.
____
Attend a community event or visit a landmark in your
community.
Earn the Citizenship Belt Loop and Citizenship Pin and complete remaining requirements above to earn the Citizenship Letter (Year Three).
To help with Den/Patrol organization: Print out this page, check off requirement as completed, and turn in to Leader when all requirements for Belt Loop, Pin, or Letter are completed.
