"You Know My Name"
A little bit about myself
My name is David Pollino. I'm 14 years old and I have been a Beatlemaniac since the day I was born. I live in Ebensburg, PA. I am about 5'10 and weigh about 140 lbs. I am a freshmen at Central Cambria High School.
I like to act, play soccer, ski, draw, and watch TV. But my main hobby is music I like singing, playing the guitar, and writing music. I have been singing for a while but I just recently picked up the guitar from my dad. I can play the basic rhythym progressions to most of The Beatles songs, but I'm getting better and working on leads. My favorite songs to play are "I Saw Her Standing There", "Day Tripper", "Paperback Writer", "Rain", "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party", "If I Needed Someone", "Michelle", "Eight Days A Week" and "Imagine". I can play bass fairly well, drums a little and I know three chords on the piano. I have a band called Emanon, it's a pop/rock group, I play rhytym guitar and sing...just like John Lennon. I have two guitars right now a Synsonics acoustic, and a Fender Affinity Stratocaster electric. I am saving up and hoping to get a sunburst Epiphone Casino just like the one John had.
My favorite band is of course The Beatles. I also like Lit, Sugar Ray, Robbie Williams, Smashmouth, Blink-182, Everclear, Bush, The Beach Boys, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, The Smiths, David Bowie, Queen, Cream, U2, Eric Clapton, Oasis, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, I also like the Beatles solo works though not as much as I like the actual group.
