Released in the latter half of 2001, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X was not a
remake of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, but it did, however, feature over ten
minutes of extra cinema footage not seen in the original version of Resident Evil
CODE: Veronica. The footage basically centers around Albert Wesker’s character
and help flesh out the overall story of the game. CVX was released only on the
Playstation 2 and also comes with a playable demo of Capcom’s ”Devil May
Cry”.
As an added bonus, those persons who pre-ordered the American version of Resident
Evil CODE: Veronica X received a special DVD entitled “Wesker’s Report.” This
report goes more in depth on Wesker’s character and reveals his wherabouts during
Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
