The Biohazard 4D Executer is located at Toshimaen amusement park in Tokyo, Japan and is a short CG film based on the popular ”Biohazard” game series. The film focuses on the fictional city of Raccoon, ground-zero for a deadly viral outbreak. The story goes as a unit of five U.B.C.S. (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service) members are
sent to Raccoon in search of a missing female scientist. As they reach her research facility,
however, they begin to realize that coming to Raccoon was more than they bargained for. All-
in-all, the film outlines the work of Umbrella, the corporation responsible for production of the
virus.
The film is shown on a 220 in. screen within a specially designed theater. Film viewers sit in
chairs with built-in speakers and hydraulics. As opposed to using regular film, CAPCOM is
using a propriety DVD system to show the film. Adult tickets, which can be purchased upon
entering the park, cost 1,200 yen ($10.00) |
