WIXZ's sister station in Cleveland, Ohio!

One of the on-air games that WIXZ ran was the "WIXZ Gold Market Game". Here's how it went. (Remember, I was a stupid kid when this game was being played, and yes, I was a winner one morning before school). Anyway, the jock on the air would look for a caller. If you were the correct caller, he check to see how the WIXZ Gold Market was at that particular time. It was made to sound like Wall Street. As it turned out, as I found the tape many years later... IT WAS A REEL TO REEL TAPE! The guy pushed play, and would either make or break you... right there! Hey, I won! My WIXZ Gold Market was up 1 point. Which means I won a whole dollar! Yippee! But that was the first time I was on the radio, and the bug bit me. By the way, the guy that I won that Dollar from was Jeff Christie... better known as Rush Limbaugh! Now, ain't that a trip! Enjoy the audio clip from that original reel to reel tape. As for the WIXY logo in the picture. That was on the box that the tape was stored in. WIXY was WIXZ's sister station in Cleveland, Ohio. It is now something else too, but I don't know what, being that I don't live in Cleveland.
