Okay. I'm posting this because I deeply believe that we are in the End Times as spoken of in the Bible. I'm really becoming convinced every time I see more world news and politics that all of the prophesies have come true leading up to the Rapture and the first Battle of Gog and Magog and that we are on the doorstep of the said battle.
Instead of writing a giant page of what many have already posted and theorized over the years, I will simply place links here that I believe are the most informative and relevant.
First and foremost, of course, is the Bible, and I suggest a good study Bible to help explain the meanings of parts in the book of Revelation and Ezekiel.
Next is the website of Joel C. Rosenberg, who has written a VERY good nonfiction book called Epicenter, and a series of fiction books that have been almost prophetic. It has everything from what signs have come to pass, what signs to look for, and a lot of information that you won't find on the mainstream media. He also has a blog where he posts news and updates from around the world, cataloguing significant events.
More places to watch on the internet are: the Zion Oil company, the rebuilding of Babylon in Iraq, The Temple Institute, and the USA Congress.
Personally I believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, but there are several views out there, including Mid, and Post-Tribulation Rapture. More information about all three and what they mean for the Christian church, the world, and the rise of the Anti-Christ, can be found in an essay by David M. Williams, here.
Another good source for news stories that you will not find on the mainstream media, is Glenn Beck. He has good, and often funny, daily tv and radio programs.
And last, if you have NO idea what I'm talking about...at all...I recommend visiting your local Christian Church. Another good place to go for a quick introduction to Christianity is Calvary Chapel.
I will probably be blasted for all this, but I'd rather be ridiculed and be wrong (about the End Times being only a few years away, or less), than be right and be guilty of not trying to warn anybody. Personally, I think, that if Iran, Russia, and Israel continue their current course, that 2008 will be beginning of the end: WWIII and the first Battle of Gog and Magog, with the Rapture somewhere in there, whether close before, during, or close afterward. I encourage you to do your own studying and digging, and to decide for yourself what you believe.
