Recently, we've had a number of customers contacted asking if they'd accept certified funds or money orders and that the cars would be shipped overseas and picked up by a freight company. Most of these, you will find will be fraud. It's
almost always a third person involved and you'll normally receive more then you are supposed to as a mistake in the check. Money order and certified funds can be duplicated and made to look real. These take about 20 days to bounce before you find that you've been robbed by this practice. Please remember to double check who you are doing business with before you sell your car.
