Vigil Arial Shot

This arial shot of the Vigil is taken during the Vespers portion of the service; the priests and bishops did not get fully vested until Orthros began. The large blue and white church served as the altar for this outdoor service. The red and white tent housed the clergy choir that led the singing. The small grey-stone building on the left end of the picture is the original tomb of St. Alexis Toth; on the other side of it (not visible) is the grave of Metropolitan Leonty, who led the formation of the OCA. The shot is taken from the monastery belltower.
