St. Nicholas Cathedral (Brooklyn, New York)

St. Nicholas Cathedral was originally founded by St. Raphael as his parish when he came to Brooklyn. This is also the place where he was buried (see photo). The parish has now been transferred to another location in Brooklyn. The new cathedral also has an icon of St. Raphael.

Thanks,

Christian Moulton

The original St. Nicholas Cathedral

This is the original building as it stood in the time of St. Raphael. The sign over the door reads, "St. Nicholas Syrian Cathedral."
