Setting: Belle and Mimi are fighting about Shawn near Belle's locker.
"Mimi Shawn is not a piece of meat you can just win over, he has feelings and you have to let nature take its course!" Belle said trying not to raise her voice. " Oh, yeah Belle and you let nature take its course. Just a couple of months ago you were trying to win over Brandon's heart! But here is a news flash there are girls guys date, which is you, and there are girls guys marry, that is me! No guy will ever love you, you are selfish and conceited and just as bad as Philip!" Mimi said cold-heartedly. With this Belle turns around and runs away holding back her tears. She couldn't even comprehend how her best friend, sorry her ex-best friend could say that about her.
Her thoughts were broken when she bumped into someone it was Shawn. She looked up and all she could hear was Mimi's voice over and over again saying "No man will ever love you." With that and seeing Shawn she broke down. She collapsed on the floor and started crying. Shawn bends over and hugs Belle trying to comfort her. Then he says "Belle? Belle what's wrong, I've never seen you like this! Tell me what happened. Belle starts saying the whole story as Shawn looks in disbelief. He always thought Mimi was nice. Then Belle felt anger instead of sorrow and wanted to take revenge on her. She tried to think of something that would show her that guys do like her for her, and something that would absolutely break her heart. She looks up at Shawn and the smiles. She had the perfect plan of revenge. Shawn was sort of scared because when Belle Black decides something she does not back down.
"Shawn, you want to get back at Mimi right? Or help me get back at her, for a friend please? Here is my plan, now since Mimi is obsessed with you and she claims that no guy will ever like me, we can pretend to be going out! Please!" Belle says while putting on a puppy face. Shawn thought about it, he could have this to his advantage he decided, " Just pretend? Well, OK I'll do it." Then Belle goes and hugs him for doing her this favor. This will be very interesting Belle and Shawn thought.
