Philip at 19 years old....

Phil's Great Love....
...was aviation. Being the son of a heroic Air Force fighter pilot, it was only natural for him to want to fly. He loved anything with wings and dreamed of becoming a flight instructor. He is pictured in a Sabre Trike with a Cosmos Zoom 19 wing at Sabre Trikes in Arizona, October 1998. That was when we picked up the first trike and he soloed for the very first time.

Here Phil is showing 2-year old William Joshua Broderick how it's done. "Uncle Phil" would talk about how he wanted to teach Josh to fly. Phil would have made the world's best flight instructor- he was the most patient person you could ever meet.
