Released in 1998, this was a one-time project with Martin Atkins of PigFace. Ogre and Atkins met while touring with Ministry in '89/'90. This CD takes off in a new direction neither Ogre or Atkins had taken before. It's very melodic and Ogre's voice sounds more natural, of course, there's lots of percussion from Atkins.

Some facts about the CD: There are two cover songs on Bedside Toxicology, "Scarecrow" was originally recorded by Pink Floyd in 1967 and "Downtown" was originally recorded by Petula Clark in 1964. Ogre plays guitar on "Scarecrow." The beginning of the song "For Dusts And Mists" is a sample from a recording Atkins made of Ogre feeding his dogs at Shangri La where Skinny Puppy recorded "The Process" which Atkins helped produce. The woman on the cover of "Bedside Toxicology" is Jessika White, Ogre's ex-wife, who took all the photographs for the cover art including her own picture. Ogre received full writting credit for "The Daze", a song he says is about a period of depression in his life.

The idea behind the name Rx (Ritalin) came from Ogre who obtained the drug from his brother, a medical doctor practicing in Canada. Ogre says he interviewed children on the drug and the lyrics came from his research and apparently his own experience on the drug Ritalin.
