The Process |

1. Each team will be organized by the class professor. 2. You should work on your webquest both in and out of the classroom. 3. In addition to using your text, you should look up information online to expand your knowledge of the background of your theme, and how it is judged. 4. Under each team heading below, information will be provided to get your team started. (Please read this, it will show you what I might be looking for when grading papers) 5. Computerized class extensions, such as email and a discussion board will be provided by your instructor. You should make full use of these, as they will prove very helpful. 6. Search sites are very helpful. I prefer to use Google when looking for information.
Team: Fantastical Aspects 1. You should look up online what a fantasy aspect of a book is, and give a definition. 2. If possible find fantastical aspects used well in this book (you can add in examples from other books, if you cite them and do not use this to replace examples from this text).
Team: Conflict 1. Provide a definition (using online sources) of conflict and list/describe the 3 different types of conflict. 2. Describe each kind of conflict in this book and classify it as its correct type.
Team: Character Profiles 1. Using your text and online sources (searching for "harry potter characters" should yield many good sites), provide a description of all the main characters found in this book. 2. The descriptions of each character should be of decent length, but do not spend all the allotted time on one character.
Team: Resolution 1. Using online sources, define what a good resolution is. Then find examples outside this book of decent closings to stories. 2. Finally, identify and explain the resolution to each of the main questions in this text.
