This Operating System was created for those who want
a backup system or have an old laptop or something. It is meant to have the
power of Linux, the speed of DOS, and be user-friendly
like Windows. It is created to boot on one floppy.
It should run on a computer with these minimum
requirments.
This OS comes with the following built in. Web Browser, FTP, Telnet, File Manager, and a Text program.
Install Instructions: Simply download the zipped file below and uncompress into c:\. Now go edit the system.ini file in the dos editor or notepad. Find the line that says (shell="explore.exe") Change "explore.exe" to "kpg1.exe". Now reboot. You will be booted into what seems to be Win 98. But you'll get a window running KPG 1 in it. Now type help for a list of commands.
To change your OS back to Windows at anytime do the following. Go into KPG and type "escape" at the prompt. You'll get the good old DOS shell. Type "edit system.ini." Change the shell="kpg1.exe back to shell="explorer.exe". All set! Enjoy!
