I thought that I had better explain about this afghan that I created. I don't have a pattern for it yet because I am kind of making it up as I go along. My daughter, Arynn was about 3 when I started crocheting. Her favorite color in the whole world was yellow. She wanted everything in yellow. She asked me if I would make her an afghan and I let her pick out the color and of course she wanted bright sunny yellow!! So I made Arynn a baby afghan from a pattern I found in a magazine and she promptly dubbed it her "snuggle blanket". She has slept with it every night since then. It goes everywhere with her and she even likes to have it folded just right so she can snuggle it at night.
Well, as kids will do her favorite color has changed over the past few years. When she started her purple phase, I added a couple of rounds of purple to it. The last year or so has been a blue phase so now it also has a couple of rounds of blue. I just recently found out that she has a new favorite. She is now in a green phase lol. She is 7 years old and her "Snuggle Blanket" keeps growing. Someday, when she is all grown up it will be a chronicle of how fickle she was when it came to color lololol. ~ Karyn
