Materials:

*2 contrasting colors worsted weight yarn

*size H hook

Directions:

ch 4, join to make a ring

1) ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, *3 dc, ch 2, repeat from * twice more, join to beginning.

2) sl st over to ch 2 corner space, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, all in same st, ch 1, [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in each corner space, with ch 1 in between each corner, join to beginning.

3) sl st to corner, [ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] all in corner space, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space, ch 1, *[3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] inside corner, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space. repeat from * around, join to beginning.

4-5) repeat round 3.

Border

*sc in each st around, with 3 sc in each corner space. fasten off.

Flower

1) join new color in any stitch in forst round, ch 1, 2 sc in both stitches showing, ch 2, 2 sc in each of the remaining section(3), with ch 2 in between. Join to beginning.

2) ch 3, IN BACK LOOPS ONLY, [2 dc, dc, 2 dc, sc]around, join to beginning. Fasten off.

3) rejoin in any front loop of previous round. Ch 1, 3 sc in each loop around, join to beginning, fasten off.
