THE LIGHT OF ONLY GOOD

I lived in a world where I did not think,

That any of this could happen to me.

I wish that I could understand,

The wonderful thing that made me see.

The shadow of evil deep within,

Showed me the light that made me free.

All of a sudden,

I feel as if no one cares about me.

My dad decided to change his life,

He makes it seem so easy.

I have one friend that I can trust,

One that is as helpful as she can be.

If I had just one wish,

That wish would be,

To see the light of only good,

And leave the evil be.
