You all seem to know

Know who you are

And what you want

I look to you and feel a great sadness

I'm lost in a fantasy

A dream of passion

I long for passion

Passion for anything

I look to my future and see nothing

Questions fill my mind

I don't know if I can survive in your world

Lost in your world of money and pleasure

I long for something more

Something that will fill my soul with warmth

I don't want what you want

I don't know what I want

I want to experience the world for what it is

Not what it could do for me

To look and see what is truely there

And not what it could be

Not how it could benefit me

Every day is killing me

My soul aches from the pain

I don't want your world of daily routine

I want to live each day by its' precious moments

I try,

But the more I try

The more your world kills me

I want passion and excitement

To feel something stir in my soul

To have a spark

Something to cure my pain

Something to bring me life

To inspire me to change your world

Everytime I find something, anything

Your world violently pulls it from me

It beats the hope out of me

Tears it from my soul

Exposing my wounds

Only to make them worse

In your world

My life is despair

Slowly killing my soul

My eyes are dull

Seeing nothing but pain

This world is not for my eyes

This world is not meant for me
