Dawndra Petty resides in the Cleveland, Ohio area with her husband and two children. “Writing has always been very liberating for me. Even as a young child I would write poems and stories to release my thoughts and feelings.”
She’s been writing since junior high school. Inspired by her seventh grade English teacher writing became such a joy. Through her teacher’s encouragement Dawndra had a poem published called "The Human Body."
The release of “Universal Moods” is definitely a huge accomplishment and a dream come true.
