MASONIC POETRY

I'm a Lover of African-American Art and Writing Poetry. I have just a few works of art to share with you, accompanied by some poetic words of mine to soothe you!

LIGHTING THE FUSE

The one year anniversary of an American Tragedy (9-11 the bombing of the World Trade Center in NYC) is upon us. For me, this cowardly act has taught me many things and made me reassess many other things in this life of mine. One lesson in particular is the realization that this existance on Earth is a blessing in itself and should not be taken lightly. Hold your loved ones close to your heart at ALL TIMES. Tommorrow isn't promised. Also I AM AN AMERICAN , and very proud to be that!! No cowardly acts by others will sway me one bit. Hopefully this has brought us closer to God and the understanding that we as people, black, white, red, yellow need each other. Let's continue to work in our communities in a positive way. Teach our children well, they are our future leaders. STAY STRONG AMERICA!

AT THIS TIME I WOULD LIKE TO HONOR MY MOTHER
BARBARA M. AYERS
(AUGUST 23,1934 - AUGUST 26,1984)
WITHOUT HER GUIDANCE AND LOVE I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SHARE WITH YOU MY CREATIVITY! FOR IT IS FROM HER AND THRU THE GRACE OF GOD THAT I BECAME THE PERSON THAT I AM TODAY. ALL OF MY CULINARY SKILLS, AMONG OTHER THINGS WERE RECEIVED THRU THE PATIENCE AND TEACHINGS OF MY MOM. HER LEGACY AND LOVING SPIRIT WILL LIVE ON THRU ME FOREVER.
