What's the Dillio?

October 21st 2000

Another week gone, Phil turned 21,and we're going camping today. Other than that, nothing terribly special happened. We got a ton of hits this week from Fugly.com. Thanks to those guys and anyone else that links to us here. Speaking of linkage, if you do link me, let me know and I'll return the favor, no questions asked. Also, if you have something that would be appropriate for Phonics' Corner, let me know. I'll give you credit for it.

This week's review

I just found my old Atari 2600 in the attic, so we've been playing that alot. The best game by far is River Raid. You get this little plane and you have to blow up boats, helicopters and planes. Oh how I long for the olden days.

October 13th 2000

Man, this is sad. I am writing this from home in Connecticut on a 56k modem. In school, I have a T1 line. This 56k is so much faster right now. Is this an indication that perhaps York College should update their computer network? YES! Anyway, let's get on with the news. It's friday the 13th and you know what that means. Yep, all the crazies come out tonight. Well, we saw one yesterday afternoon. Phil, Jeff, Beat, Tex, and myself were behind a local grocery store playing stick ball when we heard this huge crash and looked up the hill to see a light pole swaying. We all ran up the hill to see what happened. Some woman had crashed a shuttle bus into a light pole in the middle of the parking lot. It was no fender bender either. She bent the front bumper through the radiator into the engine. Coolant was spilling everywhere. And what does this woman do? Why, try and start the bus silly. And there I was without a camera. Man people are dumb.

Rules of Engagement (DVD)

Rent this one. Buy this one. Steal this one. It is one of the most amazing movies I have seen/owned in a long time. Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones are amazing in it. This one really gets the blood pumping.

October 7th 2000

Hello and welcome back to another exciting edition of the Weekly News. The results of the first Beermonkey Poll are in. The person you'd most like to have sexual relation with is.... Phonics? What the hell is wrong with you people? This week went by rather quickly and without too much bad shit happening. I've been staying out of trouble lately, so my parents are pleased with that. Things have become a little boring around here but Fall break is coming up next week.

This week's review

Nothing this week kids. However, if you haven't seen BASEketball, watch it. It's good shit.

*SPECIAL UPDATE*

I know that it isn't the end of the week yet, but I saw something today that was truly newsworthy. On my way to my 3pm class today, I encountered a large group of people standing outside the door. As I made my way through the throng of people, I saw a man going completely apeshit. I don't know if he was a professor, but he was dressed professionally so I assume he was. Anyway, he was throwing papers all over the place and from his mouth came a constant string of curse words and explict language. The man kept throwing his books against the building all the while cursing. I was amazed that he didn't repeat a single curse in his ranting and raving. He then turned his attention to a tree which he began kicking rapidly. I could've sworn that this dude was on PCP or something. I wish I had a video clip to show you all. Anyway, security showed up and the man laid down on the sidewalk and ate a bag of cookies. Don't ask me, I really couldn't tell ya. Since he was all calmed down, I went inside to attend class. What a day my friends!

September 30th 2000

I guess that I'm kinda late this week. Oh well, sue me. Tim's here for the weekend so we've been having fun constantly. Last week's camping trip was the shit. Much fun I tell ya. Yeah I know, no new link things, well I'm too lazy to be really creative right now.

This week's review

MxPx - The Everpassing Moment

Sweet new album by the trio from California. If you've ever liked any of their older songs, then do yourself a favor and buy the new one. You won't be disappointed.

Until next week....Stay out of trouble...or at least run fast.

September 21st 2000

I'm not gonna be around this weekend, so I figured that I'd do this now. This past week was pretty cool. We went to an awesome party on Saturday at our friend's house. Steve tried to do backflips in the yard when we got drunk. Let's just say that he's damn lucky he didn't break his neck. Anyway, the club is going skydiving this weekend, and Phil and I are going just to hang out and get drunk. So, I'll catch ya all on Monday. Hahaha, the weekly review is back!

This week's review

Incubus - Make Yourself

Incubus rocks. Now I'm not too into the whole heavy rock type scene today with Korn and Limp, but I'd listen to Incubus anytime. And just a note to the kiddies, the whole rest of the album is not like the two singles that have been released.

Until next week....Don't burn down the house.

September 14th 2000

Yeah I know that it's not Friday yet. Well I'm bored so just shove off ya hosers. Paintball was fuckin awesome so I'd like to thank my friends from Ski and Outdoor. Unfortunately, Bill was injured during one of the first games. No worries, we can up with a quick fix . In other news, I have a few ideas about some things to spice up this page, so stay tuned for those. No cds again this week, but we did get a DVD. Can you figure out which one?

I see dead people

Until next week....Keep your hands where I can see them.

September 8th 2000

And so we come to the end of yet another week of dealing with classmate's, teacher's, and co-worker's crap. Ever wonder why teacher's never let you do anything cool? Well kiddies, it's Friday and you need to start this weekend off with a bang. What kind of bang you ask? Why, getting smashed off your rocker of course. That's right. If it's not related to booze or bitches, I don't want to hear about it until Monday (Unless it's funny....then by all means I want to hear about it). So raise your glasses and join me in a toast to the almighty weekend. Sadly, once again I'm broke. But here's some more words of wisdom for you.

Never piss on an electric fence

Until next week....Chug! Chug! Chug!

September 2nd 2000

Holy crap time flies. Classes have now started, and things seem like they are okay. I had a pretty shitty day considering it was Friday. . Oh well, I'm over it. I haven't had any cash to buy a new cd this week, so in place of the weekly review I give you some words of wisdom.

Never mistake Pine-Sol for Beer.

Until next week....Relax

August 28th 2000

Another week has passed, and life just keeps on rocking. I'm in my new apartment at school and it kicks much ass. This year is going to be great. Phonics likes it too.

This week's review

Aztek Trip - Lost and Found

Although there are only five songs on this demo disk, AT makes you want to put the cd player on repeat. There are no disappointments with this album. It's a little hard to find, but if you can get your paws on it, you'll be satisfied.

Until next week....Smile.

August 19th 2000

Ah yes, welcome to another exciting and informative weekly news update. I'm all finished working now and plan to fully enjoy my week off before school begins. I got a lot of things done for school already, so I can pretty much just chill this whole week. That probably means that you'll see some more updates around here. Finally, I'm on the lookout for a cool webring to join to bring this page to some more people out there. If you have any in mind, let me know. And now.....

This week's review

Fenix Tx - Fenix Tx(Self titled)

Simply put, this album rocks. If you like punk it'd be to your benefit to just check these guys out. On the scale of 1-5, Fenix Tx has earned a 4. This album is something that you can to.

Until next week....Shoot safely and keep em in the 10 ring.

August 14th 2000

Well, it's been a while since I've done one of these. Let's see... Last friday I got home from work at 2am and stayed up watching television until 3. Big mistake. My parents woke me up at 6am so that I could accompany my father to Governor's day/Connecticut National Guard Family day. So, I spent the day at Camp Roland viewing the displays of equipment and meeting friends of my father. It was pretty cool spending the day with my Dad, but I ended up with a sunburn. That's about the only eventful thing that happened this past week.

This week's review

Umm...I haven't purchased any new Cds this week, but...I've had this one for a while so..

Everclear - Songs from an American Movie

Not at all like previous Everclear albums. VERY soft rock-like. Still, I find that it's pretty soothing at times. I give it a 3 of 5.

Until next week....Don't get mad. Get even.

August 3rd 2000

When will the rain ever end? Off and on for 5 days is enough! I feel like I should be building a giant boat and gathering animals before it's too late. Sheesh. Works sucks, (I know). And now on to this week's review...

This week's review

Bran Van 3000 - Glee

This album is way different from anything I've ever heard before. It's been classified as Trip-Hip, mixing both hip-hop beats and weird trippy electronic music. This album is cool just to have it playing in the background while you chill, but I don't expect alot of people to enjoy it like I do. Oh well, deal.

Glee gets a 3 of 5.

Until next week....Smoke 'em if you got 'em

July 29th 2000

Wow, that week really flew by. Work was usual...lame. My friend Shawn just got hired and starts on Monday, so that should be cool. My last day will be August 18th, so I can't really wait for that. Britney is doing well, and I see her every chance I get.

This week's review

Mest - Wasting Time

Sounding like a cross between MxPx and Goldfinger, I was impressed with each track on this album. Mest was actually discovered by Goldfinger, and produced by John Feldmann.

Rating - On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best and 1 being the worst, I'd give this album a 4.

Until next week....Keep it real
