Barbara Baumgartner captivates her audiences with lively folktales from a variety of cultures around the world.
Many of her stories involve the audience in chants and other forms of group participation.
Barbara earned her Ph.D. in Education and Storytelling from The Union Institute (Cincinnati).
She works full-time as a Library Coordinator for The Free Library of Philadelphia
and teaches graduate courses in Children's Literature and in Storytelling.

Barbara's four books in print (retellings of traditional folktales)
are published by Dorling Kindersley.

STORYTELLING WORKSHOPS
