I have been diagnosed as having something called panniculitis,can you give me some information on this please?

Panniculitis is a term for nodules of fat in the skin that die off. There can be several reasons for this, including trama, cold exposure. There is one form from riding horses in cold weather which appear on the outer thighs. It can be an isolated problem or systemic, meaning due to something thoughout the body. It can be associated with connective tissue disorder ie autoimmune. It can be due to a number of things. The information you have given is not enough to give you more information.
