A Soldier's Declaration

I am a soldier in the army of the Lord! Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct! Faith, prayer, worship and the word are my weapons of warfare! I am armed and dangerous! Ready for action and prepared for battle. Dressed in full battle gear and clothed in the armor of God. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. The weapons of my warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of strongholds. I am destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and I am taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire! My God called me and I answered. I will not turn back now because I have already come too far.

My tour of duty will not end until the Lord calls me home. I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, bought out or pushed out!

I am faithful, reliable, capable, and dependable, If my God needs me, I am there! If He needs me to teach children, work with the youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me, because I am there! I am a Soldier!

I am not a baby! If I am not pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up I am still a Soldier! I am not a wimp! I am in place, standing strong, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name and building His Kingdom!

If nobody sends me flowers, gifts, cards, or candy I still know I am loved. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to! I am committed! I have counted the cost and know that His grace is sufficient for me.

I cannot have my feelings hurt badly enough to turn me around! I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside! I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit! When Jesus called me into this army I had nothing! If I end up with nothing, I will still come out even! I will win. For the battle belongs to the Lord.

My God will supply all my needs! I am more than a conqueror! I will always triumph! I can do all things through Christ who is my strength!

I will not fear what the devil throws against me because I am a servant of God. Demons can't defeat me! Snares can't trap me. Storms can't stop me! Sickness can't slow me, Battles can't weary me! My enemies can't scare me. Hell can't hold me and Satan can't stand me. I smell like Jesus, look like Jesus, I am fashioned after His likeness. I am being changed from glory to glory and God isn't even finished with me yet.

Should the enemy attack I will not allow myself to be captured by fear for I know that my God is with me. Should the enemy torture me with shame I shall not be exposed for I am clothed in His righteousness. Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. Should the enemy seek to convict me of guilt I will shout it loud that I have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. I am saved, sanctified and set free. I am a child of the Most High God, a joint heir with Christ and Satan has no authority or jurisdiction over my life.

I will serve no other masters and have no other gods in my life, for my passion and my very heart belong to the Lion of the tribe of Judah. I am breaking down strongholds and binding the strongman in Jesus Name.

I am a soldier in this army, and I'm marching ever onward, claiming victory! I will not give up! I will not turn around! I march on towards the prize, reclaiming stolen ground and capturing new territory. Giving all the glory to the King of all kings and the Lord of lords. I am a soldier in the army of the Lord!

As a soldier in God's army I have been given a license to kill and destroy. I can use my license against demons, lies, sickness, depression, fear, shame, guilt, doubt, pain, worry, curses, addictions, manipulations, witchcraft and all things that set themselves up against the kingdom of God. I am NOT afraid to use my license. I can use it to bring hope, joy, freedom, healing, deliverance, peace and life.
