Fire Photos

Welcome to Fire Photos page. On this page, we will have pictures of Engine 28 operating on various firegrounds. If anyone has any fire pictures and you would like them posted, e-mail me at PhillyM8@yahoo.com and give me your name so I can give you credit for the picture. Please come back since this part is still under construction! Thanks and be safe!

This picture was taken in 1978. Here, Engine 28 is extinguishing what appears to be a brush fire. The station wagon also shown in the picture is Battalion 10. (Photo by: Greg Masi)

This is another picture of the above shot. It is taaken sometime around 1978. The location of the picture is Cambria Street and Richmond Street on the other side of Interstate 95. I don't know much about these pictures but it looks like a simple brush or rubbish fire. (Photo by: Greg Masi)

This photo was taken on September 14, 1999 at Trenton and Allegheny Avenues in Port Richmond. A train derailed from the bridge above and one of the tank cars fell into the middle of Allegheny Avenue. The car carried a haz-mat called Phenol. Engine 28 was first-in on this assignment. (Photo by: Stan Feldman)
