My Career Goals

I am not sure what career I want. I am sure it will have something to do with psychology. I love people, they way they are and how they react to things.

I also thought about going for law and a bunch of other things. I guess I'm a nerd.... I love The Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel.... everything from Bob Vila to Wild Discovery to those shows that explain how roller coasters work.

This is a big difference from my high school years. I graduated with a 1.7 GPA, and didn't care. Now I have a 4.0 in the two classes I have taken so far. I have a long way to go, and it would have been easier if I had put my heart into it when I was younger and it was free..... but maybe paying for my education is part of my appreciation for it.

On My Own

Being independent and needing something for myself, I bought my home in early 1997 and have been remodeling it. I did most remodeling and repairs myself with my Fathers help. Without my Dad, none of it would have been possible. He showed me how to put up sheet-rock, spackle, sand and paint. He helped me fix the roof, replace the bathtub, lay carpet, put up a fence, fix plumbing and so many other tasks. My Dad and my Paternal Grandmother are my closest relatives. They have helped me get along in life. I can't express how much I appreciate them. I could not have made it this far in life without them keeping me sane!!

Thank you Dad and Gramma for always being there for me and helping me out!!

Some Beliefs

I am strongly against prejudice and injustices. I guess most would consider me to be independent and a feminist.

I have my own opinions about many things. I speak my voice whenever I think it is necessary and needed. This attribute has turned many people off, but it is me. I understand that being an individual has it's consequences. I tried fighting that part of me, but realized it means too much for me to be me. So, I keep it real. I also adhere to W.W.J.D? Those four little letters can help through many situations. In case you are not aware, it stands for What Would Jesus Do?

My Faith

I am not all too religious. I was raised Roman-Catholic and disagree with most of the values and fearfulness of God. I want to learn more about different faiths and find somewhere I fit in. Theology is a big interest of mine either way.

Other Interesting Tidbits About Me

I write poetry.... not regularly, but whenever the moment is right and I am inspired. I played the violin for 7 years, wish I never stopped!!! I also played the guitar, briefly. Oh, as a child.... I think I really thought I could fly. I still, to this day, have dreams of it. Silly, huh? Strange dreams of me driving a car from the passenger seat have also crossed my sleeping world. Any ideas on what this means? Maybe I try to take control of things out of my control?

Really A Psychological Disorder?

Many of you are probably wondering.... "What's with the multiple-personality thing?"
I pride myself with an ever changing personality. I allow myself to feel all emotions... whether it be anger, crying my eyes out, sickeningly silly or just whiny and, well.... bitchy. I think it gives me a greater spectrum of life. I want to experience it all. I have yet to find true bliss. I vaguelly recall some youthful moments of bliss so long ago. But anyway.....

Another reason I chose 'Missy's Multiple Personality Page' as a title is, of course, is due to my passion for psychology. Psychological and personality disorders fascinate me!! I would love to study multiple personalities, Alzhemer's disease, schizophrenia and other disorders.

Since I speak up for what I believe in, I will be the first to admit, I have problems that I want to end. Thankfully, they are not major problems like some have. I do get bummed out at times, and I'm willing to turn to others to feel better. Besides, we all have our problems, no matter how small or big they may be. Wouldn't it be better if it was not looked down upon to 'get help' for them? So maybe calling my page this crazy name in a jokingly fashion will open more people's minds.
Right?
BTW... no offense intended to those that might have MPD.
