My Ian Moran Tribute!
This is the part of my website devoted to my favorite hockey player, Pittsburgh Penguin, Ian Moran! Ian was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 24,1972. He played junior hockey with Boston College where he was named Hockey East Co-Rookie of the year in 91-92. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the sixth round of the 90 draft. Ian spent the next years in and out of the IHL playing for the Cleveland Lumberjacks occasionally filling a roster spot for injured Penguins. In the 1998-99 season, Ian made the team and has been here ever since. Ian is known as the Penguins Utilityman because he plays every position except for goalie, though I'm sure if given the chance, he would play goaltender too. Ian is what a hockey player should be. Intense, determined, brave, strongwilled, and has a heart of gold. More players should play with their heart and soul, not with their big paychecks like Ian does game in and game out. You make us proud to cheer for the Pittsburgh Penguins and you! Love Ya Ian! Keep showing the NHL how bright your star shines!
