The 2001 fall league ended in a two game sweep by a very strong Romansky’s club which made short work of a surprising upstart Red Lantern team which finished sixth in the regular season . As usual strong pitching was the determining factor as Chip Blankley , one of the areas best , pitched two solid games to  stymie the underdogs . This was probably the strongest fall league in some time as many as eight teams could have emerged victorious . Next years edition has a hard act to follow!
