Rod Lacey has helped the program in different ways the last several years. He has coached at various levels ,16 and under and 10 and under, where he has helped his son, Steve, improve his hockey skills. The greatest contribution Rod has provided is to help Bob Brady referee the older group tilts every game night. He volunteers his time to do a great job in the toughest of circumstances. The older kids skate very quickly which makes it difficult to make snap decisions but more importantly, this group usually has “tudes” which they bring to the court with them. Most people would turn down the “opportunity” to ref these games for pay . Rod gladly offers his time to make our league the success it is today. Rod is not known as well as some of our other volunteers but none has a tougher job than he does. Thanks, Rod!
