Player of the Week- (week ending 11.8.02)

            This player is on his way to being a real superstar. He plays in countless leagues almost every day of the week, and he is only 11 years old! In our league he plays for the Bulldogs in our 18 and under league, and he doesn’t look out of place with any player in the league. His name is Steve Saraceni, and he had a great week here at Granahan.

            On Monday, November 4^th, Steve scored a goal in a loss to the Brahma Bulls. And then on Thursday, November 7^th, he scored 4 goals and assisted on 3 others in a big win over the Knightraiders, giving him 5 goals and 3 assists for 8 points for the week! This performance puts him in a tie with the Wolfpack’s Alex Landry (10 goals, 3 assists, 13 points) for 4^th place in the league in scoring with 10 goals and 3 assists for a total of 13 points. Congrats to Steve, his brother “Bo” and his dad Tony for this week’s honor!
