Game of the Week- (week ending 11.8.02)

Brahma Bulls vs. Royals:

            Playing in the rain on the smaller court, these two teams played a very defensive game. Most of these players have been here at Granahan for years and are used to playing on our smaller rink, so the game was pretty fast and neither team had any problem playing.

            Each team would score a goal after the other, so the game was pretty much a tie throughout. And so the game was tied after regulation at three a piece on goals by the Bulls’ Adam Viola (1g) and John Carnevale (2g), and the Royals’ Tom McCabe (1g), Jesse Heier (1g) and Ryan Langley (1g). So off to overtime we went!

            Both teams had their opportunities to score, and at the 2:30 mark of O.T. the Bulls’ newcomer Casey Adler scored his 5^th goal of the season, giving the Bulls the hard-fought victory.
