To REPENT means to turn away from your sins, not just say your sorry. To truly repent, you must ask forgiveness and no longer do that sin.
Sin is doing wrong against God. Anyone who knows the good he should do and dosen't do good, sins (James 4:17). Sin causes a seperation from God. For all who live in sin, fall short of the glory of God (Romans 6:23).
God will never leave you, but you first must trust him and turn to him. "I will never fail you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5). God COMPLETELY forgives your sin. "For he forgave all your sins, and blotted out the charges proved against you" (Colossians 2:13-14).
"If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). All you must do to be saved, is confess that Jesus is your holy savior, and that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and God raised him from the dead.
You should not just READ the bible, but APPLY it to your life!!
"No temptaion has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." (1 Corinthians 10:13) God will make a way. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can stand. There is a way out.
