My Girls

This page is dedicated to the two most important people in my life, Brooke and Raine. Without them life would not be worth living! They make it worth getting up in the morning, they allow me to laugh throughout my day, and they are the last thing that goes through my mind when I retire to bed. I have learned through them how to become a child again. Life looks so much better and easier through the eyes of a child.

Brooke and Raine

This picture was taken at a local park. We sometimes go there to feed the ducks and the swans. there is a nice walking path and swings. It is a place where we can go to have fun, relax, and let our stressors behind. Unfortunately we don't visit there enough. but we are working on that!

Our Christmas Vacation in Florida

We decided to go to Florida, this last December. We thought it would be a good time to "get away from everything" Raine enjoyed her first airplane ride. After take off Brooke,(who has flown before) suddenly decided that she didn't like the plane. I firmly told her to get over it, and that SHE DID LIKE THE PLANE! We all had a really great time. The girls decide what we did and when we did it. The whole trip was great except for returning the rental car. Apparrently they moved the place. HAHA! I would love to make this a family tradition. It was so nice that it was just the three of us.

The male member of our family

We do have one male that does reside in our house. His name is Tye. We aquired him 2 years ago around Thanksgiving. I was away and when I returned my mom was sitting there holding Tye. All she said was "He was so cute, I had to keep him." My mom had a habit of "keeping" cute things. There have been many times when he almost lost his home. He is quite a strange character, but we somehow put up with him. We attribute his weird ways with him being a male.
