Here's how it works: You read the background on your 3 friends, how they meet, and then you join them (After soon-to-be comrades become friends)From there on, you must make decisions to make...or break your team. It's beginning! Let's see what happens!
"Hurry! Get up Get up, Dad!" exclaimed Justin. "Dad, you need to get up! I need you to drive me to Pallet Town so I can get a Squritle!" he said. "But it's Saturday, and Dodrio hasn't even cawed yet. It's not that far to Pallet, so why don't you ride your bike there? You'll make it with time to spare." said his father.
And so begins Justin's Pokémon journey....He's almost there now, let's check up on him...
"Wow...It's 8:30...I made it. I sure hope there's still a Squirtle!" He thought to himself. Justin ran up the steps of Professor Oak's lab, and made his way inside. "Gary? What are you doing here?"
"I just turned 11, and I'm here to get a Pokémon from gramps."
"Well, which one are you going to take? I want a Squirtle."
"Huh? You want a SQUIRTLE? Hah! Any REAL trainer knows that the best starting Pokémon is Bulbasaur." Said Gary, defiantly. "I gotta get goin'. Later, loser." he continued. As Gary walked out the door, Professor Oak said, "Please excuse him. I'm sure he's just excited about getting started!" Oak said, trying to correct Gary's bad behavior. "Oh, it's ok. So, do you sill have a Squirtle?" he said excitedly. "I've got one right here. Take care of him well...Uh, I don't think I got your name. What is it?" He asked. "I'm Justin. Thanks for the Pokémon!" He replied. "Take care!" Oak said as Justin hurried away. Later, Justin and his new friend relaxed in the grassy shade. While they talked, someone else was very busy training. "Go Jigglypuff! Use your double-slap attack! Now, sing it to sleep! Way to go! Another victory!" Dylan exclaimed. Dylan had turned 12 just a few months ago, and was very excited about his progress so far. Currently, he has 5 Pokémon, his favorite being Jigglypuff, and he's been training them hard! Ok,let's get back to our story!
"You...you just barely won. I almost beat you." said the trainer Dylan just beat. "My Pokémon are just tired. We would have won if you hadn't come along." the trainer said. "I won, and you just don't wanna admit it. You've got no excuse; you're being immature."
Dylan responded.
"Think what you want. Next time we meet, it'll be a definite victory for me. I gotta go." the trainer said, and with that, walked away. As Dylan congratulated his "'Puff", One more person made his way down the road.
"I'm too tired. I really need a break. Hey! That tree looks like a great place to rest!" Nathan thought to himself. He ran to the tree, sat down, and began eating lunch when he heard voices from behind him. He turned around to look and saw 2 trainers, each talking to their own Pokémon. "You're getting very good, Jigglypuff! You're beginning to amaze even me!" said Dylan. Nathan also saw Justin and his Pokémon. "Squirtle, I want to catch an Onix. Since you're a water-type, you'll be very effective against him." "Squirtle Squirtle!" agreed Squirtle. Jigglypuff heard Squirtle, and came running over with Dylan right behind him. "Jigglypuff, where you going?" Justin jumped to his feet as Squirtle and Jigglypuff met. "Jigglypuff?" "Squirtle Squirtle." "Puff puff." "Squirt Squirt Squritle."
"I...I think they're talking to each other." declared Justin. "Uh...yeah...By the way, who are you?" asked Dylan. "I'm Justin. I just started training Pokémon this morning! How long have you been training?" Justin asked. "Oh, about a year and 2 months, I guess." Dylan answered. "Then...Why don't you have a Wigglytuff yet?"
"Because my Jigglypuff was abondoned by a bunch of Wigglytuffs." Dylan had just finished when Nathan came running up. "Hey, are guys trainers also!" asked Nathan. "Yeah, I've got a Squirtle."
"And I've got 5 Pokémon. You really look older than us...That means you must have alot more Pokemon than we do!"
"I'm fourteen. Well, I've only got 6 Pokémon." Nathan said. "What! Only 6? You're kidding right?" Dylan said.
"No. Only 6."
"Ok, so who are they? I'll show you my Pokemon if you show me yours."
"I don't need to see your Pokemon, but I'm sure they have been trained well. If you still want to, Go Pokéballs." Out came Nathan's six Pokémon: Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Dratini, and Pikachu. The words "Oh, wow!" barely escaped Justin's mouth. But Dylan, a little less amazed said, "I guess they're ok, but you really should have more Pokémon by now. I mean, I've got 5 Pokémon already, They're at high levels, and I've only been a trainer for a little while." Dylan said. "Well, that's what most people say. I don't catch Pokémon very much, even when I have the chance. I only caught the ones I wanted, then trained them to exceptional levels. Would you like a battle?" "Oh yes yes of course!" Justin shouted. Nathan replied, "Justin, maybe you should fight someone a little less experienced. "Oh, Ok..." Said Justin with a sigh.
"Alright, I'm up to the challenge." Said Dylan. "Go Pokéball!"
