New Adult Applications

Effective April 1, 2003 all new adult applications will be automatically screened with a criminal background check as per BSA National Office policy.

• Use only adult applications (form 28-501V or later) for new volunteers.  Please purge all old applications to avoid confusion.  Adult applications are required for position changes, transfers, district positions, and merit badge counselors as well as unit volunteers.

• Be sure applicant has included his/her social security number and signature.  The approval box of Committee Chairman & Chartered Rep/IH also are required before the application is turned into the Council office.

• Applications received that do not have this information WILL NOT be processed.  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Adult Tiger Partners that are not registering for any other position in a unit DO NOT have to complete an adult application.
