Jaison Pascuzzi: Philosophy of Art Education
As an art teacher I would like to challenge and inspire
students to participate in the learning process. I wish
to adapt my teaching style so that I can reach out to the
learning styles of students. I want to guide students in
the learning process. If I can motivate students by
engaging their senses, then I believe I can help students
satisfy their curiosity. In this, young minds can gain
the wisdom to satisfy their natural human desire to
understand the world we all live in.
Moreover, I believe, to be an effective teacher, I must be
a good listener, someone who is responsive to the needs of
developing minds, a facilitator of questions for what is
not understood, a supplier of information to assist
learners in advancing intellectually, and forever a student.
