  • My first attempt at Früvous photos took place in Katonah, NY (11/14/98). Here are the results: grampa früvous , special guest lou reed , and jian and dave . after the show, a picture with jian

  • These pictures are from Moxy Früvous's New Year's Eve '98 show at the Bottom Line Club in New York City: mike attacks dave , dave-o , ji sings , another of jian , the king of spain! , a shot of mike , murray looking *adorable*

  • And here's a few from the Spring Gulch Folk Festival in New Holland, PA. These are from the evening set, Saturday, May 22nd. here's dave , and jian smiling , "i will hold on" , jian (in his glasses) and mike , and another shot of mike

  • Früpix from the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival, July 11! First, here's me and Murray (and Murray's wearing the shirt I gave him for his birthday :) Pix of the actual *show* (because i know that's what you care about): everybody knows what time it is... , "when she talks" , would you buy a banjo from this man? , dave and mike get into it , and by far my favourite pic, murray at the drums

  • And, of course, tobey! You have to love tobey, because he is the best and you just can't not love him. he was hesitant about me taking his picture because he hadn't shaved in a while, but he looks good, right?

  • The Midsummer Celtic Festival in Valley Forge, Pa (7/18). Here's photos of Great Big Sea (unfortunately i couldn't get the 3200 film i wanted and had to settle for 800, so these are lit kinda funny): alan being...alan (he's such a rogue...), bob looking quite calm , séan with the bodhran (remarked the woman behind me, "where the *hell* is their drumset?"), and darrell, of course

  • Pictures from the 1999 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. My Nields pictures got messed up because I rewound the film wrong and they got exposed *pout* but I do have pix of Eddie From Ohio: mike playing bass , robbie , julie and eddie , and julie and mike rocking out

  • Pictures of Früvous at The Point in Bryn Mawr. August 17, 1999 (recording session for WXPN's World Café...*very* fun): mike, dave, and 'xpn morning show host michaela majoun , jian explains (i don't know what, but he seems to be explaining something), murray on the bass , murray and dave chat

  • Then, on August 19th my mommy and I took the train down to Washington D.C. for two Borders instores, of which not many of my pictures came out (*frown*). Oh yeah, and Murray wore the shirt for me :): murray in the shirt , jian , mike in his rockstar shades

  • The '99 Philly Folk Fest was wonderful (GBS, Cry Cry Cry, Früvous, Willy Porter, good people I can't think of right now...)(not to mention hangin' out with my friends who were there :)). I didn't get close enough to take many pictures of anyone, but here are a few from a workshop: lucy kaplansky , again , i looove willy porter , yes, i do (he sang a song and made up verses about feeling like he didn't dress properly for the occasion...long pants in the humidity, street shoes instead of sandals...:))
