The Supplication Refuge
Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize him, nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His Presence except as He permits? He Knows what appears to His creatures before or after or behind the. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth. And he feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. For He is the Most High, the Supreme.
Let there be no compulsion in religion, Truth stands out clear from error. Whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks, And Allah hears knows all things.
Allah is the protector of those who have faith. From the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are evil ones. From light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the Fire, to dwell therein. (Surah Al-Baqarah. 255-257) When those come to you who believe in Our Signs say: " Peace be upon you, Your Lord has ascribed for himself (the rule) of Mercy. Verily, if and of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amended (his behaviour) lo, He is Oft-forgiving,, Most Merciful." Thus do we explain the signs in detail. That the way of the sinners may be shown up.
Say: "I am forbidden to worship those – others than Allah – whom you call upon." Say: "I will not follow your vain desires. If I did, I would stray from the path, and be not of the company those who receive guidance." (Surah Al-‘Anam.54-56)
After the exitement of the distress, he sent down calm on a band of you, overcome with slumber, whilst another band was stirred to anxiety by their own feelings, moved by wrong suspicions due to ignorance. They said: "What affair is this of ours?" Say : "Indeed this affair is wholly Allah’s". They hide in their minds what dare not reveal to you. They say to themselves : "If we had anything to do with this affair we should not have been in the slaughter here". Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death". But all this was that Allah might test what is in your hearts. (Al-Imran, 154)
Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah. And those who are with him are strong against unbelievers, compassionate amongst each other. You will see then bow and prostrate themselves, seeking Grace from Allah and His good pleasure. On their faces are their marks, the traces of prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat. And their similitude in the Gospel is like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong. It then becomes think, and it stands on its own stem, filling the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness and a great reward.( Surah Al-Fath, 29)
