Ask us how YOU can help Team Artistic Trends raise money for cancer awareness.
~ Charities and Community Involvement~
Artistic Trends Salon is committed to helping the community and raising money for various local and national foundations.
What we do to raise money and who we have helped:
Casual for a Cause
Team members pay $5 to wear jeans to work Tuesdays through Fridays. Each week is a different day. When you see a team member wearing jeans, say "thanks" for helping the causes we support. The money we have raised has gone to Relay for Life, Hope Cuts and some will be saved to "help someone in need". Hope Cuts HopeCuts is a foundation in which salons raise money to fight a variety of cancers, diabetes, as well as various diseases. Certain services are offered and we donate the money to Hope Cuts. Barb, Deb and Allison participated in the first Hopecuts November 2008.Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation
We participate in Denim Day and Breast Cancer Awareness month. Denim Day is a day in which the team members donate $5 to wear denim to work.
Grandview Hospital Children without Medical Insurance
This was a raffle to raise money for children without medical coverage.
We put together a basket full of beauty products and raffled off the basket. One winner took home the basket, worth $200. We donated $350 to this charity.
Quakertown Relay for Life 24 hour Event
Barb - team captain - Barb and Deb participate from the salon along with our kids, family members and friends which make up our team. We raised over $1200 through generous donations, raffles, Bake Sales and Candy Sale.
