dedicated in loving memory of Tara Marie Stauffer.
Tara was born on August 21, 1983. She was the daughter of Brian and Faye. Along with two loving parents she had two very loving step-parents, Kermit and Shelly as
well. Tara attended Muhlenberg Elementary School for kindergarten through the fifth grade.
She then attended Trexler Middle School where she was a member of the National Honor
Society and played on the field hockey team. She remained an honor student and was a
member of the volleyball team at Allen High School. Tara was loved and adored by everyone.
She planned to go to college and study education and maybe pursue a career in acting. But
all her hopes and dreams became memories on the fateful night of February 19, 1999. Tara
was in a car with four other teenagers. The car hit a nearby tree. Tara was killed
instantly. Rachel Gericke, another passenger in the car (who was also a sophomore at Allen at the time of the accident) was seriously injured and continues to recover to of this very day. So please keep Rachel and her family in y our prayers. Sadly, all we can do for Tara now is remember the fond memories she brought us. We will all deeply miss her. Even though she is gone now she will
remain in our hearts forever.
