PEACE BE LIKE A RIVER - For Our Troops and Their Families and All of Us.
This song is based on a prayer/poem written by Sue (now my Sis.in.Law) for Shell (now my daughter) a few years ago. Due to extreme circumstances at that time, Shell had to move suddenly and unavoidably, away from the home she knew all her life; and it was a very stressful time for her; a time of great turmoil. At that time, I asked to turn the poem into a song. Finally, almost a year ago, this song was written. With what is going on (the Iraq War) I felt that this may help bring comfort to other people feeling the stress of the times. So, I recorded a 'good version' of it and this link plays a real audio version of this song. Please forward the link to anyone who may be comforted by this; If you can't play real audio files, let me know through my e-mail address; or if you would want a CD.
