     Welcome back. Our 2005 outdoor season (full marching band) is gettung under way. You can click the link above, under "Our Current show" to learn more about it, and our schedule of performances.

In our 2004 Outdoor season, the marching band took the Chapter 3 championship in group 3 competition. At the ACC championships in Scranton, the marching ensemble placed fourth out of 26 bands competing. The drumline ranked 7th.

  • 05/03/2008 - Championship competition, in Wildwood, NJ, netted the Drumline 4th place with a score of 91.9. Great job everyone!!!
  • 05/01/2008 - In Preliminary championship competition, in Wildwood, the Drumline took 4th place with a score of 91.1.
  • 04/26/2008 - Taking the show to Chapters at Norristown, the drumline walked away with a 3rd place. They did place first in the Visual Caption, and 2nd in the Precussion Analysis.
  • 04/20/2008 - The ensemble took 1st place, at Highland Regional, with a score of 87.8. This place them 3rd in the TIA standings.
  • 03/29/2008 - Taking the show to Timber Creek, the ensemble's performance not only earned them a 1st place (with a score or 94.8), but also earned a promotion to the Scholastic World class.
  • 03/15/2008 - The ensemble took to long ride to Springford, PA, and did not leavedisappointed. Their performance landed them another 1st place finish, with a score of 79.5.
  • 02/16/2008 - They start the indoor season in Norristown, PA. Their performance pulled an impressive score of 73.2, easily winning them a 1st place trophy. We're off to a good start!
  • 05/05/2007 - Our ensemble returns from Wildwood as the 2007 TIA ALL-CHAPTER Champions, Scholastic A division.
    In preliminary competition, the drumline came in 1st place with a score of 93.2.
    In final championship competition, our performers took their championship with a score of 95.7!!!
  • 04/28/2007 - The ensemble, once again, took to the gym floor at Abington High for their chapter championships. Their performance earned them the chapter championship, and their score of 93.3 put them 1st place in the over-all TIA rankings.
  • 04/21/2007 - Our performers took thier show to Highland Regional H.S. They took 1st place with a score of 90.0
  • 04/14/2007 - Our ensemble took to the gym floor, at Armstrong Middle School, in judged exhibition. Their rocking performance netted them an 86.0 score. We currently hold 4th place in the TIA standings for Scholastic A.
  • 03/24/2007 - Our talented percussionists rocked the gym at Henderson High. THeir performance netted them a score of 93.2 and a 1st place.
  • 03/03/2007 - Our performers took to the gym floor at Abington High School to perform their show. They went home with a first place trophy and a score of 82.2!! As of the time of this update, that put Bensalem in 1st place in the Scholastic A division.
  • 02/17/2007 - The ensemble competed against two other schools, in their class. THey left Norristown with a first place win and a score of 81.0!!!
  • 01/20/2007 - Our first show was the Blackwatch Show at Triton HS on. We took 2nd place with a score of 60.2 (had a 5.5 point penalty for being under time).
  • 10/21/2006 - THE HOME SHOW!!! The BHS marching band performed in front of the home crowd. THeir performance earned them a score of 82.60, moving them up to 25th place in the TOB rankings.
  • 10/14/2006 - The marching band competed in another USSBA show .... the scores do not count for TOB ... so as of this week, the BHS band sat in 37th place. The show netted them first (out of 2 bands) wit a score of 78-something (I never was able to get a good answer from the USSBA site for score). The score was lower than last week's USSBA show, but BHS won high percussion, high auxillary, high music and high visual .
  • 10/07/2006 - Our group took their completed show to the USSBA show, held at Washington Township High School in Sewell, NJ. Marching against tw other groups in their class, they finished second with a score of 80.05. The climb begins.
  • 09/30/2006 - THe BHS Marching band debuted their show. Competing against two other group 3 bands, the ensemble took 2nd place with a score of 74.9. The battery and pit had an excellent show, but there was no percussion judge so no percussion awards were given out.
  • 04/30/2006 - With a couple weeks off, the ensemble buckled down. They went to Chapters prepared, and walked away with a score of 82.9
  • 04/08/2006 - The drumline did their best show, yet in front of the Home crowd, Their performance earned them a scor of 77.0
  • 03/18/2006 - The group took their show to the WGI competition in Coatesville. Things were a bit hectic as the bus arrived late. The drum-liners were rushed from bus to gym floor for the prelim and earned a 65.8. They praciticed the rest of the afternoon and increased their score to 67.0, in the finals..
  • 03/11/2006 - Our ensemble debuted their show on the gym floor of Daniel Boone High School. Their performance netted them a score of 66.6.
