How odd the Girl's life looks This being comfort-then
Here is something I really don't
understand at all....
Weddings.
Couples plan for months and
months. They pick the perfect flowers, and music. They search out the
perfect words to explain their unique relationship. The invoke their "God"
to protect and bless their union. They involve all of their family and
friends. They bring everyone they know to together to serve as witnesses
to this union, and celebrate the joy they have found in each other.
Then in a flash, when things aren't going as perfectly
as imagined in the euphoria of new love, the same couple can call it all
off, without considering the deity they invoked, or the people they
involved.
If the couple did not want their family and friends to get
involved when they start to question the permanence of Marriage, why did
they bring all these people together? If the couple did not believe that
their love would withstand the test of life, why did they take such time
and care to make everything so perfect?
If the couple did not believe that their God could not foresee their future trials and tribulations, why call upon God to protect their union? I don't get it. For Better Or
Worse.... For Richer or Poorer... In Good Times and In Bad.... Are they
just a bunch of words to cause Mothers to tear up and Brides sigh, and
just forgotten when life throws a curve ball their way?
Like my
Father always said, "Who said Life was easy." Who Says you always get what
you want, or what you deserve, or that you can even imagine what life will
give you next.
Like I said- I Don't get it....
TRANSLATION IS EVERYTHING....
I'm "wife"- I've finished that-
That other state-
I'm Czar- I'm "Woman" now-
It's safer so-
Behind this soft Eclispe-
I think that Earth feels so
To folks in Heaven-now-
That other kid-was pain-
But why compare?
I'm "Wife!" Stop There!
