Hello. Thanks for taking the time to find what I have to say about America's Dream Car.

My fascination started at a young age. On the wall in our kitchen used to be a huge painting of a 1965 Corvette Sting Ray 4 Speed, 327 small block. With modifications, it harnessed over 400 horsepower!! The car was my Dad's first car. He bought it for a little over $2000, and had it until around 1973, when my big sister was born. I just love that picture!

I always wanted Corvette matchboxes. I looked through the photo album frequently. When I got older, I started buying model Corvettes. I put together a 1967 Corvette Convertible. Since then, I've got several die-cast models. My favorite is my 1:18 scale 1998 Silver Corvette Convertible. I've spent some time admiring the details on that great car.

When I got to college, I gained access to the internet, and a whole new side of the Corvette was available to me. I found tons of great pictures on the web, and tons more information. Just recently, I learned about some great specialty Corvettes, like the Callaway series, other modified Corvettes, and the 600+ HP Corvette C5-R! With Corvettes like that to gawk at, my amazement with the Corvette just grows every day. I won't be happy until the day I get the opportunity to get my very own, brand new Corvette to play with. Of course, I'd be just as happy to own any Corvette at all, especially if it was a mid-year Sting Ray!

Until my dream comes true, dream with me and sign my guestbook on your way out.

Fortunately for me... I started seeing so many new Corvettes that I couldn't keep track of them all. And one more great thing happened. In June 1998, I got to sit in a red 1997 Corvette. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to drive...
