The San Francisco F-Line
- Former Philadelphia PCC Cars -

After SEPTA discontinued service on routes 15, 23, and 56 in 1992, San Francisco bought fourteen of the unused PCC trolleys.  These cars now operate on Muni’s F-Line, which serves Market Street and the Embarcadero (Fisherman's Wharf).  The PCCs are painted in the colors of North American transit systems that once operated them, and are beautifully maintained with the help of volunteers.
